4 years ago when i went to college my dad bought me hero cd-deluxe, at that time i did not know how to ride a bike. At first i was sad that my father did not bout me pulsar but after time i realized in many ways that the cd deluxe is better in many ways the repair cost is so much low on thus bike that once i hit a tree during my bike learning days that whole front got broke leg guard prevented me from getting hurt and mechanic reassembled the front for only rs.800 and the bile is strong as hell in early days i had more than 5 accidents but bike never damaged, it has good f power and mileage (62 kmpl in city and 72 on highway tested) and servicing cost is also low as compared to bajaj platina, suspension is good can handle rough roads and l seat is very comfortable and long .

I started using this bike since my early college days 2007 when i turned 19. Amazing experience since then, no issues with engine, just need to change oil as recommended by hero. It was a good decision at that time to purchase a mag wheel version as in 2007 all the companies switched from spokes wheels to mag wheels. Carburettor needs to be cleaned every 5000-7000kms which will keep engine combustion efficient. Its 11 years i have this bike and running of more than 40k kms , i thought of using additive to gasoline to clean the combustion chamber and believe me it makes engine alive and i hope it goes well for another 40 k kms without any overhaul to the engine. My father had hero honda cd100 since 1998 and has no issues till date touch wood. Just did colouring due to rusting of some parts in 2008. Similarly i can see some part of chassis rusting for my cd delux as it was used in navi mumbai humid region for 4 years, which might be the reason for rust and needs to be repainted to make it stay longer. Hope this review helps you to trust hero as it has supported us for last 2 decades and still counting.

Hi.. The riding experience is unexpected. High comfort with adjustable shock absorbers, good throttling and breaking systems and solid recommendation for long drive. Maintenance and spares at affordable cost. The only drawback is the head light, we have to fix additional lamps for better brightness. Mileage at 67km per ltr

This is superb bike. Let me tell it's pros and cons
Pros -
1. It gives good mileage of more than 50 kmpl in city trafficked area.
2. It's engine is very good and never cause any problem.
3. Seat is very comfortable for both, driver and pillion rider. Specially for Indian ladies seat is most comfortable than other bikes as it has wider seat.
Cons -
1. It's pick-up is not very good. But still ok if we look at it's engine capacity.
Conclusion - overall very good and worth bike for daily commuter.

disappointing experience a review of the cd deluxe bike
48 weeks ago
Kishor Sasemahal
I am using hero CD Deluxe from last 10 months and really terrible experience. After using the CD Deluxe bike for 10 months, I am compelled to share my disappointing experience. While initial impressions were positive, the bike's performance and durability quickly deteriorated, leaving me dissatisfied. In this review, I will outline the various issues I encountered during my ownership of the cd deluxe bike.Build quality and durability:The build quality of the cd deluxe bike left much to be desired. Despite regular maintenance and care, the bike's components began to show signs of wear and tear within a few months. The frame seemed flimsy and susceptible to damage, and the overall construction did not inspire confidence in its longevity. The quality of materials used was questionable, as I experienced issues with loose bolts and frequent part failures.Performance issues:The CD Deluxe bike's performance was a major letdown. The engine lacked power and struggled to deliver adequate acceleration. Even on flat roads, the bike struggled to maintain a consistent speed. The gears often failed to engage smoothly, resulting in jerky shifts and an overall uncomfortable riding experience. Moreover, the bike's fuel efficiency was significantly lower than advertised, leading to frequent and costly refueling.Ride comfort:Riding the CD Deluxe bike for prolonged periods was an uncomfortable experience. The seat provided minimal cushioning, causing discomfort and fatigue. The suspension system offered inadequate shock absorption, resulting in a jarring ride over bumps and potholes. The overall ergonomics of the bike did not prioritize rider comfort, making long rides a challenging endeavor.Reliability and maintenance:The CD Deluxe bike proved to be unreliable, with frequent breakdowns and mechanical issues. The electrical system experienced numerous failures, leading to problems with the lighting and indicators. The brakes required constant adjustments and lacked the necessary stopping power, compromising safety. Furthermore, finding spare parts and reliable service centers proved to be a frustrating task, adding to the overall inconvenience.

Tips for other riders
2500km once we need to give for service maintenance. Use of 5 milliamp battery will be best for additional attachment like lights horns etc
