Austrian manufacturer Brixton Motorcycles entered India with as many as five two-wheelers. One of these is the Crossfire 500 X which is a modern-classic roadster. It is a more road-biased sibling of the Crossfire XC scrambler.
Powering the Crossfire 500 X is a 486cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that produces around 47bhp at 8,500rpm and 43Nm of peak torque at 6,750rpm. This unit comes mated to a six-speed gearbox. The kerb weight of the bike stands at 190kg and the fuel tank capacity of the stands at 13.5 litres. The seat height is accessible at 795mm.
It rides on gorgeous-looking 17-inch spoke wheels that are shod with road-biased Pirelli rubbers. Suspension duties are handled by upside-down forks and a monoshock, both being adjustable and sourced from Kayaba. Braking is handled by a single disc brake at both ends with J. Juan calipers accompanied by a Bosch ABS system. Other features of the bike include an LED lighting setup, adjustable brake and clutch levers, and an inverted LCD dash with just the vital data.

₹5.39 Lakh Bike That I Can’t Even Register
16 weeks ago
Hariharan
I purchased a Brixton Crossfire 500X from Motohaus Goa (Autozone Inc.) in April 2025. What was supposed to be my dream bike turned into the worst ownership experience of my life. The bike itself looks good on paper, but here’s the reality:The dealer failed to provide the mandatory TAC certificate required by the RTO.I have been running between RTO offices for more than 6 months without success.I made 10+ visits, filed RTIs, even connected their team with RTO officers — still no result. The brand and dealer kept blaming each other and gave me false promises. When I finally asked for a refund, they stopped responding.Today, after paying ₹5.39 lakhs, my bike is lying idle in my garage — unregistered, unusable, and illegal to ride. I have already registered a consumer complaint against them.👉 This is not just a bad experience, it’s a complete loss of trust.👉 A premium brand is worthless if they can’t provide basic documentation for legal ownership. My advice to fellow riders: Please be very cautious before investing in Brixton bikes in India. Don’t make the same mistake I did.
