Latest News about BMW R 1250 GS [2018-2019]

It is certainly well known that ‘M’ badged BMW’s are known for being faster and more powerful versions of the standard models, except that this time a similar format is likely to be followed for two-wheelers as well.

We have seen a slew of motorcycle launches from different manufacturers this year, all from varied segments. But since we are currently in the monsoon season, there isn’t anything better than adventure motorcycles, is there? So we take a look at the top five adventure bikes that have been launched in 2019 till now.

This beautiful pair, with all its leathery charm, is the Alpinestars Corozal Adventure riding boots. Now, these aren’t the topmost spec touring boots that you can buy from the Italian gear maker, but the Corozals have their own USPs. This model scores high on safety and comfort, says Alpinestars. And, they weren’t launched too long ago either; so, these are still pretty modern boots. 

Launched in 2018, the Alpinestars Revenant Gore-Tex Pro riding pants are designed for the serious adventure-touring rider and promise to be well suited for all weather riding as well. So, apart from high-level of protection and comfort built in, the Revenant pants are also waterproof and breathable and come with a decent number of vents for those warm days. 

BMW Motorrad will be conducting it’s first-ever GS Experience in India. The event has been designed for existing GS owners and motorcycling enthusiasts to experience the entire GS range and understand the capabilities of the motorcycles in their natural habitat.

What backs up the prospects of this model are the spy shots of a 9Cento concept-based test mule which was spotted testing in November last year. 

The patent images suggest that this technology is in its nascent stages and it will be long before it makes its way into production bikes.
