Reviews of BMW G 310 R [2018-2019]

I am following this bike since 2016 when bmw first unveiled its entry-level 300cc bike auto-expo 2016, from that time i have watched every review of bmw 310 r on youtube from countries where it was launched earlier and every review regarding dicks bike was good either is throttle response engine looks handling or breaks but the main thing we should consider that this bike was launched ij ij competitor of duke 390 in some asian and non asian country, many reviewers already stated that duke 390 was overall better bike than this one as duke 390 has more power,torque, features than bmw 310r and also duke is fun to ride motorcycle,, according to deccan chronicle the price of bmw 310 r is $4700( around 3.1 lac inr) in us and duke 390 price is $4999(3.5 lac) in us both are manufactured in india by bajaj and tvs as well in india so india price is cheaper as import duty, various tax in us but interestingly indian price of duke 390 is 2.4 lakh and 310 r h 2.99 lakh around 60k higher bmw things thinks that indian consumers all fool they can pay any price for the bmw logo,, either you should go for duke 390 as its a more vfm product and ktm is also known for quality engineering in motorcycles or kawasaki z250 as its has twin cylinder engine (check google twin cylinder vs single cylinder)Or if you are really a brand freak then go for a used harley bikes in india but please say a big no to this overpriced thing.

Owning a bmw is a matter of neighbour s envy and owners pride , bike is well balanced and fun to drive . It has a pretty decent mileage of 39-35 kmpl. Showroom buying experience was also best among all other brands. First service done which cost me around 4500 inr and next service interval is 10000 km .

Suspension leakage within 5 months.Engine not starting suddenly that also in 10th month doesn’t serve the purpose of paying premium and going with such brand.Really disappointed.Inconvenience at its highest level due to availability of service centre quite far and very few, sudden failure of alternator have been reported in lot of bikes of same model.Being bmw the brand , this issues are very embarrassing and disappointing.

I bought it in Bangalore, Tusker Enterprises BMW Motorrad. The test ride itself got me a premium feel . Within 24 hrs of the test ride i booked the vehicle. In 10 days i got my motorcycle delivered. When it comes to looks its a BMW signature touch with a Huge tank in the middle ,the bikes give you so much of confidence to ride faster and faster. It does 0-60 in 2.6 secs and 0-100 in less than 6 secs. The first service is for 1000kms and every consecutive service 10000 kms.
The only con about the bike is service costs a lot... A LOT.
Pros : The Looks, Riding dynamics, Agility,ECU package
Cons : Misses on the slipper clutch, Very Costly!

Buying experience was good. Riding experience is awesome. The torque of this bike is fantastic. Looks very sporty. Service cost is around inr 5900 for the first service. Brakes are extremely reliable and just fantastic. Gives lot of confidence during panic braking. Pickup is just breeze and off to a flier when the green light goes on.

Awesome, good mileage, smooth top speed, sufficient to gift for best friend, it is very good for riding and service is really good than other companies extraordinary performance is awesome really dint buy a bike like, this is good for couples and good for travellers to ride with this bike, i love this bike superb.

Since it is 310 but look is similar to that of fz, of yamaha no doubt the balance speed and features are more generic and awesome as compared to yamaha but the looks still makes it one star less. The silencer is directly to backward direction result in sporty noise which will not disturb the rider.

Fellas at bmw motorrad were pretty friendly compared to other dealership, buying exp was great, i can say bike is extremely reliable no issues other than slight vibrations at certain high rpm's but tolerable, pretty good looks, satisfactory performance and the name bmw comes with quality, this has the quality!, this can easily be used as a tourer too as it is the most comfortable bike ever in its segment, recommended very much.

Actually I saw this bike recently in MG road Bangalore and I was flat. its just wow, amazing look given by bmw. one who bought that bike is lucky. But I wanted to ride it and I tried but I'm not capable to own that bike so I went to him and asked for 1 small ride and took ride of bmw 310 and it was my memorable ride with this bike. now I planning to buy this bike and collecting money for it but i don't know when my dream will come true
