BMW C 400 GT Latest Updates
BMW Motorrad India has launched the 2025 iteration of the C 400 GT maxi-scooter in India. The introductory price of the scooter starts from Rs. 11.50 lakh, ex-showroom, which makes it Rs. 25,000 more expensive than its predecessor.

BMW C 400 GT Summary
BMW C 400 GT is a scooter available in only 1 variant and 1 colour. The BMW C 400 GT is powered by 350cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 33.5 bhp and a torque of 35 Nm. With both front and rear disc brakes, BMW C 400 GT comes up with anti-locking braking system. This C 400 GT scooter weighs 214 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 12.8 liters.
BMW Motorrad has updated the C 400 GT maxi-scooter in India for 2025. The 2025 BMW C 400 GT gets a new range-topping variant and a few functional changes that improve its practicality.
The scooter features a redesigned windscreen to better channelise the wind around the rider’s head and reduce wind buffeting. Moreover, BMW has also re-profiled the seat and lowered the saddle height to 765mm to make it accessible for shorter riders.
Other updates include a new Exclusive variant, which boasts golden alloy wheels, brake callipers, and graphics. It also has an embroidered emblem on the seat. Furthermore, it also features floor lighting with a BMW logo projection and stainless-steel floorboard inserts. However, these are optional extras over the standard trim.
The new BMW C 400 GT uses a 350cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that is tuned to deliver a maximum power output of 33.5bhp at 7,500rpm and a peak torque of 35Nm at 5,750rpm. The motor is linked to a CVT gearbox. BMW Motorrad claims a 0-100kmph acceleration time of 9.5 seconds, while the top speed is rated at 139kmph.
In terms of styling, the new C 400 GT comes with an apron-mounted headlight, tall windscreen, step-up saddle, and a muscular design. The scooter is equipped with a twin-pod LED headlight with LED daytime running lights at the front, integrated LED turn indicators, two glove compartments, flex case under the single-section seat, and a Keyless Ride. The ride-related data is available on the Bluetooth-enabled 6.5-inch full-colour TFT screen. A rider can scroll through the functions with the BMW Motorrad Multi-Controller. The C 400 GT is equipped with a side stand and a centre stand. The scooter is available in a single Diamond White Metallic paint scheme.
The hardware on the C 400 GT comprises a tubular steel frame, telescopic front forks, and two spring struts at the rear. The braking duties are performed by twin discs at the front and a single rotor at the rear, while the safety net includes ABS. The scooter rides on 15-inch front/14-inch rear tyres.

What a Super Stylish BMW

i never thought i would own a bmw in my life but my passion for bikes brought me to this c 400 gt and it is honestly the best feeling in the world. from the day i brought it home i just keep looking at it because the design is so bold and it makes me feel like a king on the road. first time i saw it i fell in love with the front look because it looks so angry and powerful like a big touring bike. the best thing is the comfort because the seat is like a sofa and i can ride it for hours and hours without any tiredness in my body. when i am riding on the highway the wind does not hit my face because the big glass in front protects me very well. the engine is very strong and when i twist the throttle the pick up is very fast and i can reach hundred kmph very quickly. it has a big beautiful screen that connects to my phone and shows me navigation which is very helpful for my long trips. the space under the seat is also very clever because it expands when i park to keep my helmet safe. one thing i feel a bit sad is that the price is very very high for a scooter and also the service cost is like a car. but for a person like me who has big passion for bikes and wants something unique and luxury then this is the ultimate machine. the brakes are very powerful and it feels very stable even at high speeds so i feel very much safe. everywhere i go people stop me and ask about this bmw because it looks so premium and different from regular scooters. it is my pride and i am very happy to have this monster in my garage.
