Buying experience was good but the riding experience was not at all good benelli tnt25 has many problems like oil leakage, the gear is too hard, bike gets heat very fast. bike look is good but the performance is not at all satisfactory. I suggest never ever to buy this bike, the staff doesn't have manners to speak with the customers, bike parts are never available MOHAN MOTORS take more then 1 month for any product. they will charge very high money and the service people is never there.
BIKE IS BIT SATISFACTORY BUT SERVICE IS WORST.

  • Hot about benelli tnt 25

    Loudes Infant Dionish

It’s been a year since benelli, the 104-year-old italian bike maker, joined hands with the dsk group for its India chapter. Today, they sell an entire range of motorcycles from the tnt 300 to the tnt 1130 r and it has tasted success as far as the higher capacity bikes are concerned. However, their entry-level bike, the tnt 300, priced at rs 3.25 lakh is still out of reach for most enthusiasts.

Dsk-benelli is now trying to address this problem with its all-new 250cc motorcycle, the tnt 25. It’s an all-new design that shares very little with the rest of the range. The bike follows a minimalist styling template of a street fighter and it looks mean. It comes with a wide 41mm inverted forks up front, holding the meaty metzler rubber. The headlight is borrowed from the tnt 300 with a speed screen sitting atop.

The muscular styling continues to the fuel tank, which is inspired by the rest of the tnt family. The tank pad runs all the way from the start of the fuel tank and merges neatly into the saddle. The plastic side panels have a metal finish to further accentuate the bare bones look. The only sore point being the matt back exhaust pipe. Benelli should have gone for a grey exhaust heat shield for a well-finished look.

Tightly wrapped in the bright red trellis frame is an all-new liquid cooled, single-cylinder, 249cc motor. The engine makes its peak power of 27.67bhp at 9800rpm and delivers a healthy 21.61nm of torque at 8000rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheel via a 6-speed transmission.

On the move, power starts kicking in around 3000rpm as the bike sweetly pulls away from standstill – wring the throttle and the 100kph mark is breached effortlessly. The dull looking exhaust sounds good once the revs cross 5000rpm. The tnt25 loves been ridden hard and it feels peppiest above 7000rpm.

However, it’s not all out hooliganism that the tnt 25 is about. It’s quite versatile as well. The engine makes power in a linear manner, letting the rider putter around town in fourth gear at 45kph with ease. Ergonomics too are sorted here. The flat handlebar coupled with rear-set foot-pegs give the rider a forward-leaning riding position and the well-padded saddle keeps your bottom happy on long rides as well.

Sticking with everyday usability, the inverted forks up front and the mono shock at the rear do a good job of soaking up the bumps. On highways, the bike feels well planted and even broken roads don’t unsettle it too easily.

All that riding comfort doesn’t mean the tnt 25 lacks cornering ability. Show it a series of bends and the mechanical will work in perfect symphony as the bike attacks corners with clinical precision. Also, grip from the metzelers provides enough confidence to push things harder. The only spoiler is the 280mm single disc up front. Though the petal disc has the looks, it feels wooden and lacks bite.

Riding the benelli tnt 25 all day in varied conditions, the bike returned a fine 29.5kpl. Couple that with a 17-litre fuel tank and you have a range of 500km.

Apart from the brakes, the tnt 25 comes across as a well-sorted motorcycle. It’s a head-turner, fit and finish feels nice, gets upside down forks and the grippy metzelers. Power is more than adequate and it’s a joy to ride on winding roads. So now it all boils down to the price.

According to dsk, the benelli tnt 25 will be the bike for the masses. It will compete against the ktm 200 duke and will be priced competitively. So expect the tnt 25 to carry a price tag of rs 1.65 lakh, ex-showroom.

    Specs

    Single-cyl, liquid-cooled, 249cc, 27.67bhp, 21.61nm, 159kg, 17 litres, 29.5kpl.

    Verdict

Performance, style, and comfort – the benelli tnt 25 seems to have it all. Wish the brakes would play along as well.

    1. Buying experience :it is quite good and i got the bike in 4 days from the time of booking

2.Riding experience :it is awesome, the rider has comfort while riding and the vehicle is stable also

3.Details about looks, performance etc :the look of the vehicle is good, and have a nice body design also and the performance of the bike is not satisfactory due to initial performance and initial power of the bike

4.Servicing and maintenance :the servicing is just ok for me and i have to travel 80km for servicing to my near showroom and the servicing is just ok for me too .The maintenance is cant affordable because my bike travels only just 5.5k km and the rear tyre is over and the new rear tyre price is 8k and second service onward paid service and the cost is 3.5k and the next service is after 4 months or 4k km in between these we have tight the brakes and lube the chain for that they make a charge off rs 800 for these also i want to travel 80km (one side) to the service center.

    5. Pros and cons :the advantage of the bike is while riding we have no tiredness it gives the best riding comfort ability and the sound of the stock exhaust is nice

The disadvantage of the bike are the performance, corrosion takes place inside petrol tank cap ,the acceleration is not good and many other things regarding with these .

    Gaurav

Bike is really good but service is pathetic. Almost paid around 40 k in 1 year for maintenance. Apart from servicing bike look feel and best thing is bike sound.

Bike stability is great . Seating comfort and riding comfort is better than other bikes in the same range. Pickup is very controlling and riding is proud.

This bike looks good but maintaining is difficult . Spare parts are steep and are not available. I had been waiting for chain sprockets from Jan-18 to till the date. If we look at service its waste of time to visit service centre. No skilled workers available. Unfortunately i visited and serviced my bike in 3 different stores(vijayawada,ap. Mjoy

Buying experience was good, only thing good about this bike is ride quality, and i don't think you need to waste your money just for this... So would never recommend buying a benelli bike... Too much maintenance costs and parts not available. In two years more than 1.2lakh i spend for this bike. Useless metzler tyres changed twice. Don't buy 250cc segment in this benelli.

  • Got money spend it somewhere you won't regret.. Not here!!

    Leo Dias

This is a money dumpster. This bike is one of the most pathetic bikes i have come across. I have never had any physical damage on the bike or even dropped it. But the amount of maintenance issues and costs this bike gives is unbelievable. On one trip from mumbai to goa (600 kms one way approx) this bike had to be taken to the showroom 3 times.I have had almost 8 breakdowns on this bike in 2 years. (even after getting serviced on time and maintaining the bike well)It will stop on the way and has massive heating issues. The spark plug will give a problem. The default spark plug that benelli provides is a very cheap one and costs less than a 100 rupees.Just don't buy this. Go spend your money elsewhere.

    Sandy

Tnt 25 is a very gorgeous bike according to look.I had ride for daily commuting also for touring

For both ride it suites me.

    For performance

This bike has a high end torque so it does not have quicker than other bike in its segment.I had reached 140 kmph there will be no vibration in it.

Braking also good. The unique thing is when you revv it the sound that turns every head towards the bike. And also the service is not bad.The bike has 2 years warranty & 2 years extended warranty.

Overall the bike is decent for daily commute......

    Chanikya

This bike looks good but maintaining is difficult . Spare parts are steep and are not available. I had been waiting for chain sprockets from Jan-18 to till the date. If we look at service its waste of time to visit service centre. No skilled workers available. Unfortunately i visited and serviced my bike in 3 different stores(vijayawada,ap. Pune,mh.Chennai,tn).I think throughout India quality of service is worst. I concluded to suggest not to buy benelli product in India.

    1. Buy experience was awesome. I snatch it from showroom located in jogeshwari. The sales representative were too professional and well educated about bikes. They also deliver bikes on committed time and a special delivery method. Apart from all there they are polite and proactive to help you always

    2. Before this i owned yamaha fz-s. So, this been my first heavy duty bike and i like riding it since it gives your power when you required. The control of the bike is awesome such a was that you never feel bad about not having abs.

    3. It looks perfectly what you need in a bike. The most important about the looks is the build quality and the level of color on it. I own red color and it does catch eye of traveler on roads.

    4. First servicing is bit quite expensive. Since, i opt of amc now with service center. Service center guys are too professional and perform the list of checks for schedule service.

    Pros:

    Good look

    Good economy with fuel

    Build quality

Comes with 4 years company warranty covers almost every thing.

    Cons:

No main stand - you need to manage when it comes to fixing your tyre puncture.

Accessories for the bike is rarely available with stores - you may need to get in touch with service center

  • Not worth buying

Not here!!
