Style the bike undobetly looks amazing , fifnishing on this biek is not as good as it has to be ,but this is what you can expect from from a ckd production.

Engine performance, fuel economy and gearbox the engine performance is the best in this range, it gives you the feel as of you are riding a 4 cylinder bike. Fuel economy on an average is around 30kmpl which i feel is decent for a sports tourer.

Ride quality & handling the best feeling is when you put doen a gear and just enjoy the smoothness and listen to the loud sound of the bike . You can ride the way you want without even thinking of potholes, suspensions does a very beautiful job offroading.

Final words just don't buy it from mumbai , they will take your money and give you false dates for delivery and try to extend as much as possible. There is no way you can get your bike on time from here. There is nothing you get in from benelli (not even a bag to carry your papers), they will peomise you to give all things as an addon but when u claim it during the day of delivery , they back off. The management of benelli mumbai is not as it has to be . The day i got my bike it was already 50km driven and they say "we don't have a tempo service to get it from our warehouse ,we can't afford it as its too expensive). I was like seriously benelli can't afford to get 8 bikes in a truck , are they so down on money? maybe an way of the showroom to make some extra grands for themself. If you buy from mumbai assure that you have your communication on mail, don"t trust their words. They are cutting down to this extent they don't have a cover for a bike. Just to add please do not buy any after market from benelli mumbai

    service and maintenance
Now there is a new issue with Benelli ownership. so the availability of spare are very bad.
Things that i changed in my vehicle are chain sprocket, 3 rear break pads, front alloy wheel , rear alloy, temperature sensor, 2 horns, oil seal.
THE ONLY THING in Benelli is the exhaust.

  • Great bike in most ways except for few which can b overlooked

    Moosa Shaikh

Hi everybody, lets start with my choice of choosing this bike over others like z250, ktm duke 390, and the yamaha r3.

Firstly i wanted more of a practical bike which can b used daily rather than just a showpiece kind off since my budget was restricted to 3.5 Lacs to 4lacs max.

    So i decided to chose the benelli tnt 300 for the following reasons;

1)the sound is amazing.. People get confused dat is it really a 300cc twin cylinder bike or a middle weight or a liter class bike

    2) the riding posture and comfort is also quite decent considering myself a taller rider at 6ft

    3) i just love red color and this one shines too bright??

    4) the pride of owning an italian beauty was my dream since childhood and this made it come true.

    5) Though the bike is on a heavier side weighing at around 210kg wet but still once i ride this it really doesn't makes me feel so and is very flick able too.

    6) Brakes on this baby monster is simple awesome

    7) its an excellent bike for touring or doing highway speeds but that is not the case when i m in a bad city traffic

    8) my buying experience and service charges including service people at the thane mumbai service centers are also very good and cooperative

    9) this bike is highly stable at high speeds too and no vibrations at all are felt on the handle bars even at 140km/hr

lets talk about the cons now

    1) the bike has some serious heating issues when i get stuck in traffic for more den 30 mins. In fact the coolent is thrown out by d bike and its shows h2o symbol which i actually don't know what is it.

    2) The horn of the bike doesn't works after the temperature crosses 98 degrees

    3) i also have faced several issues about starting up the bike as t failed to start at several times. Since there is no kick and if the self start fails i m stuck badly

    4) the spare parts of the bikes like radiator suspension are on a costly side but the normal ones like clutch lever, handle bar weights, front mudguard etc which mostly gets damaged on a day to day use basis are on a cheaper side.

Suspension if damaged due to bad potholes will cost 47k approx

radiator cost 23k ? i hope this much hint is enough

    5) mileage of the bike is around 20-25kmpl in city and nothing more then that no matter how good you ride it

6)lack of abs. Does causes brakes to get locked sometimes if applied hard but still manageable if experienced rider is there

    that's all in cons

i hope my review might help people looking forward to buy this mini monstrous beauty.

Just for the knowledge, i have been using by bike since 15 months.

3rd class bike in one word ..Poor build quality and reliability there are lots of problems with this bike right from ignition coil failure sensor failure shock absorber leaking and the things go on.The headlight socket will melt in the high heat ..This is not only faced by me but by 90% of benelli owners ..I spent 80000 rupees to keep it running in one year it's a pure Chinese product ...The worst decision in my life.

  • An all rounder

    Sasikumar

Style the tnt300 does not boast any great styles in the front look. It might look like any other second bike. But its tall tank and the offset suspension really shows off in the sides. With its wide wheel base and the exposed terrilis frame, it stands out. It does not have drl, but the pilot lights do the job.

Engine performance, fuel economy and gearbox the 300cc parallel twin churns out 38 horses. But being on the heavy side, you dont really feel a zoooooooom in the pick up. But the bike wasnt designed to do a quater mile drag. It has a steady pace in lower speeds, but when you hit an open road, you can feel the surge once you cross 8k rpm. Its a grand sport tourer. It also provides a decent 23-25kmpl in city, and you can get upto 30kmpl in the highway(sedate riding under 110kmph).

The clutch system in the tnt is a bit heavy, and please not it doesnt have a slipper clutch.

Ride quality & handling the comfort in the bike is very nice. Seats are very comfortable and the ride position is sporty yet comfortable. Even for a tall person (6feet or more), the bike suits them.

Final words its an all round sport tourer, and a street bike as well. It is the cheapest buy in the quarter litre premium segment.

Areas of improvement dsk benelli can work on a few important areas to get more customers and retain existing customers:

    1. Provision of spares availability for counter sales.

    2. Extension of service interval during warranty period.(4 Months or 4k kms is too low).

    3. Improving quality of heavy wear-tear parts (like chain-sprocket set, clutch aseembly), as the stock parts dont last long enough as the other bikes in question.

  • Benelli a super sounding machine

    Amit Padam

Hello guys let brief a bit about this bike.

    Pros:

    - it's is a true sports tourer with comfortable riding for long journeys. Good for people looking for a stable and mature riding

    - good on fuel highway- 35 ,city - 25

    - customisable suspension

    - sounds like an inline four cylinder bike

    - muscular and tyre grips are also good

    - refined gt engine

    - build quality is superb

    Cons :

    - a bit expensive on pocket as the service intervals are every 4000 or four months

    - brakes are not very responsive could have been better

    - a bit on the heavier side and lacks power needs to rev on higher rpms

    - service stations only in major cities

Conclusion: it's a good buy if you can afford it and looking for casual rides. People looking for daily use are not suggested to buy it as it's heavy and not easy on the move in traffic. The best part is the sound of the bike and the refinement level are upto the mark.

  • Practical machine with great looks

    Abhijit Pisat

Buying experience was nice. Overall riding experience is very good. One can not feel 190+ kg weight once you are behind the handlebar and manoeuvring makes easy in the traffic. Bike has been carved purposefully, which looks awesome. On highways i get fuel efficiency around 27-29 kmpl and on city conditions it goes around 21-23kmpl. On highways with its large fuel tank, i can easily tour 300+ km without any stop with pillion. Front dual discs does give confidence a lot. Recently service intervals has been changed to 6 months or 6000km whichever is comes first. Earlier it was 4000 km or 4 months were there which in result made maintenance cost on higher side. Thanks to mahavir group who made such a strategic decision. Meanwhile the part costs are on higher sides if one compare it with ordinary 150cc bikes. But come on these are imported\high quality parts justify its price. In my 1.5 years of ownership (17900+km ridden) i have only changed clutch cable and rear brake pads at around 16000 km service.Overall its a great machine and can be used as a daily commute.

    Rohit Mathur

    So i decided to chose the benelli tnt 300 for the following reasons;

    3. Improving quality of heavy wear-tear parts (like chain-sprocket set, clutch aseembly), as the stock parts dont last long enough as the other bikes in question.

    comfort, exhaust note, sturdyness

    Pros:

    - good on fuel highway- 35 ,city - 25

    - sounds like an inline four cylinder bike

    - build quality is superb

    Cons :

    - a bit expensive on pocket as the service intervals are every 4000 or four months

    Pros

    comfort, exhaust note, sturdyness

    cons

    maintenance, mileage

  • Benelli a super sounding machine
