The bike performance is very good.
But when it comes to maintenance it is too costly.
Every now & then you will have a problem.
When you have a service station 40km from your location very hard to find a spare part for Benelli in my location.
The average of this bike can get up to 25kmpl. The only reason not to buy this is because of the service station.

    1. I bought the bike from coimbatore such wonderful coordination people.
    2. Experience was good I love that.
    3. Look was good but performance ok
    4. I have to say about service and maintenance. Once the bike reached 11000 km acceleration problem came then went to Trivandrum service center they told me to change the full glutch component and brake pad oil air filter totally I paid rs.27000. After a one-month gear problem and brake problem came they told me we need one week time to check that because we don't have tools to remove the clutch I was very disappointed and they told me you have to pay for the clutch. Within 2000 km brake pad damage i will not accept. Very bad experience before I use yamaga fazer, fz, and pulsar150 but with Benelli i faced a lot of problems.Time waste.

They should open more service centers. Before put service technicians ensure that people have the capability to do their work. Because of the service technicians, my bike was(imperialle400) fully collapsed. I love this bike but due to service people's experience, I have decided to sell the bike.

The showroom salesmen know all the complainants and still, they lie bout the bike.
Good ergonomics for long highway rides, but not at all made city and off roads, even though claimed ground clearance is better than royal enfield, the double stand is at a height of just 50-60mm from the ground and hits even fr a minor bump in the city.
Service cost is too high, and have to wait a lot for spares,
I changed my brake pads twice, first at 6k kms and next at 14k.
Due to the delay, the motor problem bike had to be towed to the showroom as there is no kick start at 13k kms.
Now there is a front abs problem.
And the major and dangerous issue is frequent alignment problems, cuz of rusting of spokes. I had to get the wheel aligned twice just within 15k kms.
(summarising - brakes, spoke wheels, service cost, time-consuming services, no after-market spare parts, high rpm issue, and poor electrical wiring are the major issues).

First thing is engine overheating problem. It’s unbearable for city rides. Second thing is spare parts. They are not keeping spares at all. My bike clutch plate got worn out in in 6k kms and it took 1 month to replace and it’s horrible. The ride is good for long drives and it’s pickup is like a beast in 400cc segment. The tyres are coming with tubes and I think when it comes with tubeless it will be awesome.

As i had ride this bike 3k kms i feel very good and comfort the main thing in this bike is braking is amazing as i seen many review in you tube about breaking is really true and one more wonder thing in this is vibration there is no vibrations this bike i had a to seep of 130 km/h even the is no vibration it does no feel that that your going in 100 kmph its just passes to 100 easily coming to engine as it is a 400 cc there is heating problem i gets too hot but the heat you can observe only when you stop the bike coming to millage i can assure your that the mileage will 30 km/l if you go for a long ride with the accurate speed that is 80 km/h it can easily give you 33-35 km/l
As local rides in traffic it will be around 27-30 km/l that too it depends on your ride overall the bike was good one lagging point is the pillion seat there is some wt un comfort foot rest position could be un comfort if we go for long the shape could be in "z".

  • review and riding experience of my benelli imperiale 400

    Nithin

    My personal review is that
Performance: one of the best bikes in this segment uff the initial torque is very much impressive esp no lag which makes it easy for overtaking
    Comfort:
1)ground clearance is one of the major drawbacks when a pillion rider sits on the central stand and easily hits the speed breaker.
2)heating issue is one of the major drawbacks especially in city rides the heat waves hits our leg
3)riding comfort is good in this bike and handling feels good compared with similar-segment bikes
long rides we can do it easily without much back pain also tiredness won't be felt
    Mileage and service:
1)parts are very much expensive compared to similar segment vehicles also there is a delay in service centers majorly there are only a few service stations
2)as for me in Chennai city am getting a mileage of 22-26 kmpl whereas in highways 28-30 kmpl
    Conclusion:
If you are gonna get this bike for daily use it is not at all recommended but if ur a long ride lover this bike is perfect the negative point is parts are expensive and tyres are tube other than that I could say it is one of the best bikes in the segment have ever ride.

  • Ground clearance and mudguard hits crash guard

    Kiran

I bought this bike on 16th of jan 2020, The biggest problems are 1, center stand hits the humps while travelling with pillion. Less ground clearance, suspension is too soft.2, front mudguard hits the crash guard, that causes the dent on the front mudguard. If i cannot ride along with pillion on Indian road, there is not point in going ahead for this.

  • Think twice

    Saradhi Naidu

I am riding this bike since last November 2020. It’s near by 26k kms. I changed the clutch plates twice. First time 6k and 2nd time 25k. It’s heavy on maintenance and 2 times I changed disc pads, chain kit, back tyre, bearings, clutch wire etc and it’s nearly 50k so my suggestion is better think twice before buying and you will need patience to wait for spare parts. I am getting nearly 23 kms mileage per liter.
