Reviews of Benelli Imperiale 400

I booked this bike on 28 october 2019..red color..after taking test ride in Benelli Mumbai (jogeshwari) showroom..the bike was completely amazing and impressed with all its features like riding comfort,no vibration,straight handle bars,chrome mirrors n all...the display was very good..i cannot feel the weight of bike 205 kg...it was light...i was riding 220 pulsar for past 8 years...now time to move on ...i hope i will have great service from benelli.....no dominar(bajaj)..no ktm...no gixxer sf250..no fz250...after lots of research benelli ...love to see u with me...eagerly waiting for delivery...the service cost is 1-1.5k (free) and paid is 3-3.5k i asked on call.

1.Buying experience. I felt very happy after taken bike delivery 23rd Jan 2020 ,0n 25th Jan front pork oil leakage and malware issue and bike having jerking issues. 2.Riding experience. I can not provide you exact info because since day one many issues with bike and after first service got wheel alignment issue even if I drive it 50+ bike got full of vibrations, next one bike jerking now they confirmed as clutch plates issue. 3.Details about looks, performance etc. Looking very good but performance I have already mentioned. 4.Servicing and maintenance to worst service centers in Bangalore and no certified service engineers and very frequently the technicians will changing .They will never resolve issues .And maintenance means I spend more as of now with lot of issues. 5.Pros and cons Lot of rest issues even handle bar I can not turned it such a way it was rusted. In rainy session this bike not suitable because chain will get full of rest other parts also. Lot more issues.1.Handle bar rust. 2.Chain rest and other parts ,even silencer outline from engine .3.Oil leakage from front ports .3.Oil leakage from engine.4.Wheels are very week for small bums will get alignment issue .5.Malware issues always.6.Odo sensor issue changed it.7.Idle rmp will increase to 6000 more having some issue .8.Always getting issue with abs. 9.Seat below full rest. 10.Heating issue from engine. Some more other issue. The above all what I have face since Jan 2020 to till now .

Ok from the beginning people are talking about the bike engine getting too hot during test ride you need to keep in mind that the bike will be tested driven by more than 10 riders back to back and when i drove it i did not find any such issues the technology used are very high tech and the building quality is good as well when we can pay 2.5 lakh for class 350 which has not even half the features i find no hesitation to pay 10 k extra for this beast.

No Doubt!...This is the bike which gives you happiness and freedom of riding.No heating issues,Vibration.... and above all value for money. Benelli gives u the most awesome retro styled classic bike..The only thing which I disappointing is the red colour variant will cost 10k more than the silver one.Above all the refined engine,Non vibrating mirrors,classy look and they price will make u satisfied forever. I am sure this bike will definitely open the eyes of Royal Enfield engineers...

I have taken the test ride and this bike really impressed me a lot. It's a worthy opponent to classic 350 and jawa 42. go for this if you wanna change! only thing Benelli should increase their service centers in future. mileage of 36kmpl for a 374cc bike is amazing! the ride comfort is also impressive. and mainly u don't feel any vibrations even you are cruising at higher speeds like 100-120! the instrument cluster is awesome. it's Benelli man!

Waiting period was very long, I was frustrated by waiting and had thought for interceptor 650. But finally, i took delivery just two days before lock down. This bike belongs to bull family but looks different. I have named as 'Bison': tribute to Abhinandan Vardhaman Mig 21 Bison! I was unable to use it for two months. But now I have completed 1000 km and first service is done.
Here is my experience: I have taken test drive of all RE, Jawa, street 750.
I am fully satisfied with this bike. I am getting 30 to 35 milage. As running in period, I am driving within rpm limits.
First service cost was 1800 only. They changed oil, filter, chain cleaning lube and washing.
CON: Right side has slight heating issue but not much. Middle stand has low placement so it scratches on speed breaker. Accessories and customization option are limited as bike is new.
PROS: Bike is so smooth, stable and with good built quality. As compared with classic 350, this is far BETTER product in each and every aspect. Wide tyre, no vibration and excellent seating comfort. Bike firing is typically reminds this is not normal bike.
Till date I have not faced any issues. It is premature to comment on long term conditions but so far I am happy.
I was bit concerned about service as this bike is not so common. Leg guard and other accessories have limited choice. So far I have not crossed 60 km/ hr but I am sure triple digit speed all day is quite possible on this bike. This is cruser bike not racer like KTM. So person who is selecting benelli is wise enough to understand positive and negative of each brand.
A B Automotive, Pune is doing good job. There is extended warranty scheme with maintenance scheme. So this is pocket friendly as compared with other Benelli line ups. For BS VI benelli should keep price very competitive to sell more bikes. For those who want to choose something not common, this is good option. It's not Royal, it's imperial....

Excellent bike very comfortable with riding ... After 120 it won't vibrates... Amazing bike with similar cost... I fall in love with black colour..Just go for rest drive you will come to know.I think this one gone be like trademarks bikes list...And powerful bike in middle class range..Try once, you will like it damn sure...

The buying experience was fantastic. Got all info before purchasing. This bike may not be comfortable for daily commuting in the city where traffic is an issue. But for long rides and tours believe me, this is a beast. You won't be tired riding it all day. Look wise it has always been a head-turner for me. Benelli has the largest dealership network compared to any superbike brand in India as it has nearly 50 showrooms and service centres across the country and its expanding more.
Some minor cons regarding the bike are its center stand touches the speed breaker, especially with a pillion. The seat is a bit hard. Pillion seat you have to work on it for long tours. Maintaining is not so expensive but yes you have to handle the bike delicately. Warranty extension facilities are there at an affordable prices.
