If you are looking a bike for your daily experiences this bike provide you that comfort and amazing features considering its 135cc engine and its price is also good as a range of pulsar usually provides it will cost you around 71k on road and its mileage is also quite good company provide its average mileage of 64 but it will give you between 50 to 60 which also depends on the way you ride it. So i must say this bike is quite durable and comfortable and will provide an amazing riding experience for the owner.

I own this bike since 4+ years and have commuted more than 40000 kms. Pros: 1) good mileage, runs around 50 kmpl 2) pickup is good 3) low maintenance cost 4) can run for 2 hour continuously without causing any trouble. This is the maximum i have tested 5) looks good. Cons: 1) low comfort for both driver and the person sitting behind. Seats are very hard and tend to hurt your back if you travel more2) due to thin tyres, bike skids and slips at medium speed or wet surface very often. 3) jumpers are of poor quality. Bike at times gets out of control when it hits the pit halls.4) this is my personal experience of bajaj as a company and not bike, poor service by service stations.

    Buying experience:-

Regarding buying experience i have to tell you that i was in love with this bike as it was the pulsar and it was on my budget so when i went to showroom to ask for price and test drive i was excited as it was my first experience with sports bike as previously i was having splendor plus so buying experience was good..

    Riding experience :-

When i was riding for the first time it was a great feeling as the bike pickup was really cool and also a digital speedometer is catchy. So first time i was riding i wish that pulsar 135 must have 5 gears. Also the fuel indicator must be more efficient as it sometime let you in tension by showing 0 fuel in your bike but when you restart it it show actual fuel so according to me fuel meter should be accurate

    Details about looks, performance etc:-

About looks, performance looking is awesome just like a 1lack+ sports bike and performance is quite good.Means more than good and less than excellent .Also i have to mention about handle if you lives in city or travel in city often when you have to put breaks more often then you will see that your handle become hard to handle means you will find your handle not smooth enough as before and breaks are good. Fuel efficiency is good. Speedometer is cool. Specially mention this "seats are very hard" means not soft .

    Servicing and maintenance

Servicing and maintenance are good and budget friendly also if you are long distance traveler i recommend you to make sure your air in tyres are good unless you find find your riding harsh and also checks the bolts and nuts of your handle so as to find your journey happy.

    Pros and cons

    Firstly pros :-

    1. Cool bike sport looking

    2. Performance is good

    3. Good appearance

    2. Offers good stability

    3. Decent mileage

    4. Superior handling

    5. Effective braking

    Cons:-

    1. There is no rear disc brake

    2. Poor shades on the body

    3. Noise and vibration

    4. Seats are very hard(specially note) :)

    1. Right out at 18 years of age, 5 years back pulsar 135ls was my choice after dropping hunk and apache as budgets were fixed. I bought this from krishna bajaj pune and was delivered within 3 days with all initial instructions, free helmet and helmet lock. Buying experience was butter smooth.

    2. I use it for daily commute about 30 km's and do trips of about 100-200 km's on weekends. Apart from the hard seat which is a pain for long rides there is nothing to complain about. Acceleration is top notch goes 0-60 in 7-11 seconds on a clean highway. Top speed achieved is 110 kmph. Fuel efficiency is average 55kmpl on highways and 50kmpl in city.

    3. Torque and power is amazing as i have rode long ghats with pillion rider nonstop and the bike has performed amazing. No engine overheating or performance issues. One can ride nonstop for 70-80 kms on highway after which a break is needed. Bike looks like a sports bike, but the rear mudguard wasn't really necessary. Overall looks is 3/5 as pulsar 135ls was designed to be a combination of commuter bike with sports look. Nothing really to boast off, nothing really to complain off.

    4. Engine oil change is recommended at every 5k kms with cleaning of air filter and spark plugs. Each servicing costs around 500-700 every 6 months or as per running. Pretty cheap to maintain. Nothing really expensive when it comes to service apart from normal wear and tear parts which are reasonably priced.

    5. Pros: easy and reasonable to maintain, durable, fast, good fuel efficiency and power, easy to handle and brake.

cons: hard seat, aggressive driving position.

    Dilshad Mk

Pulsar 135 ls has been my first bike.I bought it in June 2010 .Until now I've ridden it for some 64000 kms. When dad gave me this bike at that time i was honestly not that happy and satisfied.I was aspiring for some at-least 150cc bike. But my father being a commuter lover and always concerned with mileage made this middle way out. That look if you want pulsar then i am not gonna give you 150 or 180.Have 135 or else ride a splendor like me for 80kmpl mileage.I being a 18 year old boy was never gonna accept splendor at-least so eventually i went on with pulsar. In the very first month i was a new rider so i had not much idea about performance and pickup. But all thanks to my friends..They gave me a push and today i am a very badass rider with dramatic control on my bike ..Now interested in wheelies and stoppies and stuffs like that.Well coming back to the bikes performance :you know guys this bike has been more than expectation..I myself always underestimated it in front of apache and other bikes ..But when i took it to the highway i managed to reach 116kmph and i am pretty sure this bike has more potential. The pickup of this bike is ample enough to beat 150ccs of other brands..And being a teenage excited rider had never let any apache touch my bike in city and even on highways it rides smoothly on 100kmph without any vibration with an essence of control.I.E.Torque is good. The mileage was bad in initial days but now after 2 servicing, its like 50kmpl in city and 60 on highway if you manage to keep yourself calm with this badass pulsar at 50-60kmph..Guys honestly speaking it has better pickup than pulsar 150 because of its kerb-weight ratio and aerodynamic design. At the end i am more than satisfied with this bike just hope that it would have been better with a rear disc and abs for sure..So guys whoever wants a sports-bike experience with a good mileage..Pulsar 135ls is the best bike to grab ....

    Cons:-

    Tips for other riders

    1. Oil change every 2.5k kms for mineral oils and 5k for synthetic oils. 2. Check tyre pressure 3. Generous Braking, prone to skid on hard braking especially use of lone disc break. 4. Riding above 80kmph continuously overheats the engine. A minute is fine, beyond that 70-80kmph continuously is fine.

    5. Pros: easy and reasonable to maintain, durable, fast, good fuel efficiency and power, easy to handle and brake.

cons: hard seat, aggressive driving position.
