The Bajaj Pulsar NS 400Z is the most powerful Pulsar yet, positioned as a street-naked 400cc motorcycle. It gets a 373cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled DOHC engine producing around 43 PS and 35 Nm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox and slipper clutch. Built on a strong perimeter frame, it features USD forks, a Nitrox rear monoshock, 320 mm front disc with dual-channel ABS, traction control, and four ride modes (Road, Rain, Sport, Off-road). The bike also packs modern touches like a digital LCD console with Bluetooth, navigation, call/SMS alerts, and a sharp LED projector headlamp with Z-shaped DRLs. Weighing about 174 kg with a 12-liter tank and 807 mm seat height, it balances performance and practicality. I highly recommend this bike, it is such a powerful bike that can only be handled by experienced riders.

It's all praises. Talking about features, it has got different riding modes (Street, Sports, Rain, & Off Road), ride-by-wire technology, along with dual-channel ABS and slipper clutch. Then we have the fully digital instrument panel along with new 4-way switches to play with the settings, and also Bluetooth connectivity for phone calls and music. And as mentioned above, you also get a full LED lighting suite with these aggressive-looking DRLs.

The new 2025 model has it all! Go test it out, but as a first-time rider, my experience wasn't great. The bike felt heavy, especially the front. I'm 5'7.5" and could touch the ground easily. I was set on buying it, but the test ride was a letdown. 😔 🏍️ #Motorcycle #TestRide #Disappointment #FirstTimeRider #Bike.

I am giving this review after diving the bike around 400 km 1.I had a terrible buying experience with the Bajaj showroom Darsi people they charged me more than expected I will never recommend anyone to buy in that showroom.2. The engine struggles at a low speed that I don't like, and sometimes it will force you to change the gear and it produce a lot of heat, the suspension is worse even though I thought n160 had a better one.3. looks it's good, once rev it to a higher rpm you will feel the power.

1. I have booked it recently and can't wait I previously owned ns200 so even if getting 400c in same ns200 would be enough reason for me to buy2. Yet to ride but I'm quite sure it's gonna be awesome3. Looks could be better ngl but as I previously mentioned 400c even in complete ns200 looks would still get and I'm pretty sure ns200 fans would agree nowadays people who never even owned a bike can pass opinions on social media lol but haters gonna be haters irl bartender and waiters like their opinions even matter idgaf4. Maintaining ain't a problem but service experience could be better if employees could be more energetic and could act a bit like pro even to get some parts they'd send the customer on errands5. Yet to discover.

Here’s a polished, enthusiastic review of the Pulsar NS400Z:---Pulsar NS400Z: A Pulsar for a New EraDesign & PresenceThe NS400Z carries forward the iconic Pulsar DNA with aggressive lines and muscular styling. It stands out with the “Z”-shaped LED DRLs flanking a projector headlamp, sculpted fuel tank shrouds, split seat setup, and bold colour options—Glossy Racing Red, Brooklyn Black, Pearl Metallic White, and Pewter Grey . The underbelly exhaust and gold USD forks reinforce its sporty streetfighter stance .Performance & PowertrainPowered by a proven 373 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine (borrowed from the Dominar 400), the NS400Z initially delivered about 40 bhp and 35 Nm torque. The upgraded 2025 version now pushes up to ~43 bhp at higher revs, backed by a revised valvetrain, cam timings, intake duct, and a forged piston for improved thermal resilience and engine longevity .The sprint from 0–60 km/h happens in under 3 seconds (~2.7 s), reaching 100 km/h in just ~6.4 seconds. Top speed claims hover between 154–157 km/h depending on the model year .Ride, Handling & BrakingNimble and responsive, the NS400Z—with its 174 kg kerb weight—is lighter than its Dominar donor and ideal for city commutes and twisties alike . The refined steering geometry and inverted 43 mm USD forks (champagne gold finish) along with a preload-adjustable mono-shock offer a stable yet sporty ride. Both ends now ride on grippy Apollo Alpha H1 radial tires, with the rear tyre upgraded to a wider 150‑section, improving traction and cornering feedback . Sintered front brake pads further enhance braking feel and stopping power—a welcome upgrade over the prior organic pads .Caveat: the rear suspension can feel a bit firm over sharp undulations, and nose dive under heavy braking may be noticeable If you want safety than don't go for it brakes are not that great.

Then we have the fully digital instrument panel along with new 4-way switches to play with the settings, and also Bluetooth connectivity for phone calls and music. And as mentioned above, you also get a full LED lighting suite with these aggressive-looking DRLs.

The Bajaj Pulsar NS400 has exceeded my expectations. The performance is smooth, powerful, and consistent, making every ride enjoyable. I’m very satisfied with the overall quality, from the engine refinement to the handling and build. It’s a perfect balance of style, comfort, and reliability, making it a great choice in its segment.

I own this bike the power and performance are of a 400 cc bike but the breaking is not that powerful and the tail is like the ns200 because of it the design. somehow gets a downfall But overall the bike is value for money the ride quality is decent people turn around to look which bike is it it’s a good feeling

Better to try another bike don't waste your money

I am giving this review after diving the bike around 400 km 1.I had a terrible buying experience with the Bajaj showroom Darsi people they charged me more than expected I will never recommend anyone to buy in that showroom.2. The engine struggles at a low speed that I don't like, and sometimes it will force you to change the gear and it produce a lot of heat, the suspension is worse even though I thought n160 had a better one.3. looks it's good, once rev it to a higher rpm you will feel the power.

Tips for other riders
Setup the rear suspension to soft and ride the front suspension by 5 mm, if you have to change the tyres as well

NS400 review
