I’ve been using this bike as a secondary motorcycle, mainly for city rides and occasional highway runs, and it has proven to be one of the best all-rounders I’ve owned. What really stands out is the strong low- and mid-range torque, which makes everyday riding effortless. In city traffic, the bike feels smooth, responsive, and stress-free—quick overtakes, easy lane changes, and minimal gear shifts make commuting very comfortable even during peak hours. On highways, the bike remains stable and confident, cruising comfortably without feeling strained. The torque delivery ensures relaxed riding at higher speeds, making long rides less tiring. Whether it’s short city errands or weekend highway trips, the bike handles both environments equally well.Since this has been a secondary bike, it has always been well-maintained and ridden responsibly. Regular servicing was done on time, and wear-and-tear parts were replaced as required to keep the bike in top condition. The riding posture is comfortable, the suspension absorbs road imperfections well, and the braking setup provides reliable stopping power, adding to the overall confidence while riding.Overall, this bike offers a perfect balance of performance, comfort, and practicality. It’s an ideal choice for someone looking for a motorcycle that can handle daily city use while still being enjoyable on highways

The Torque King of the Streets

1. Performance: The "Tractable" MonsterThe heart of the N250 is its 249.07cc oil-cooled engine. Unlike high-revving KTMs, the N250 is all about low-end and mid-range grunt.City Legend: You can potter around in 3rd or 4th gear at low speeds without the engine knocking. It feels incredibly "tractable," making it the king of bumper-to-bumper traffic.Refinement: Vibration levels are impressively low for a large single-cylinder engine, rivaling even Japanese competitors at city speeds. The Highway Gap: While it hits 100–110 km/h easily, the lack of a 6th gear is felt on long tours. It’s a "sporty commuter" first and a "tourer" second.2. Handling & Tech: The "UG" AdvantageRecent updates (referred to as the UG or Upside Down fork model) have transformed the bike's dynamics:USD Forks: The addition of 37mm Gold USD forks has sharpened the front-end feedback, making it feel more premium and stable during cornering.Safety Net: It now features Traction Control and three ABS modes (Road, Rain, Off-road). While you might not need TC on a 24.5 PS bike, the ABS modes are genuinely helpful in monsoons.Smart Cockpit: The new fully digital console offers Turn-by-Turn Navigation and Bluetooth alerts, finally bringing the Pulsar into the modern era.3. Comfort & AestheticsThe N250 is arguably the best-looking Pulsar ever made.Street Presence: The "Transformer-like" LED projector face and the muscular tank give it a heavy, big-bike look.Ergonomics: It strikes a perfect balance—sporty enough to look cool, but upright enough that your wrists won't ache after a 2-hour ride. The Seat: The 795mm–800mm seat height is very accessible for shorter riders, and the seat cushioning is plush for short bursts, though it can feel a bit soft on 500km+ rides.
