    Got mileage of

    42 kmpl

I am using Bajaj Pulsar N160 from last 3 years and overall experience is very good. Buying experience was smooth and delivery was on time. The bike looks sporty and premium, especially the front design and muscular tank. Engine performance is strong for a 160cc bike. Pickup is good and it feels stable even at high speed. I mostly use it for daily office riding and sometimes long rides.
Mileage I get around 45–50 kmpl in city and slightly more on highway, which is decent. Suspension is comfortable and absorbs bad roads well. Brakes are excellent, dual channel ABS gives a lot of confidence. Seat comfort is good for rider, pillion comfort is average for long rides.
Servicing cost is reasonable and spare parts are easily available. Maintenance is low if serviced on time. Just keep chain clean and do regular oil change.
Pros: Powerful engine, good brakes, sporty look, comfortable ride
Cons: Pillion seat could be better, slightly heavy in traffic
Overall, Pulsar N160 is a perfect bike for daily use and occasional highway rides. Totally worth the money.

I bought this bike on 5/1/2026. I have N160 USD FORKS SPLIT SEAT variant. It is a value for money bike but the major issues I faced while riding this motorcycle is that there's no seating comfort while riding it is very stiff and mileage is between 42-46 kmpl. It is good for commuters but not for long rides.

    • The Perfect Blend of Style and Power

      ## **Bajaj Pulsar N160 Review: Style aur Performance ka Solid Combination**
Bajaj Pulsar N160 ek strong entry hai 160cc segment mein, especially un logon ke liye jo sporty look ke saath daily usability bhi chahte hain. Bajaj ne is bike ko youth ko dhyaan mein rakh kar design kiya hai, aur overall package kaafi balanced lagta hai.
Sabse pehle baat karein design ki, toh Pulsar N160 ka look kaafi aggressive aur muscular hai. Iska sharp LED DRL headlamp aur bold fuel tank design ise proper streetfighter feel deta hai. Side profile bhi kaafi attractive hai, aur split seat setup bike ko sporty touch deta hai. Overall road presence strong hai aur traffic mein easily noticeable lagti hai.
Engine ki baat karein toh isme 160cc single-cylinder engine milta hai jo smooth aur refined performance deta hai. City riding ke liye iska low-end torque kaafi achha hai, jisse traffic mein chalana easy ho jata hai. Highway par bhi bike stable feel hoti hai aur overtaking mein confidence milta hai. Acceleration smooth hai aur engine vibration bhi control mein rehte hain.
Suspension setup bhi kaafi balanced hai. Front mein telescopic forks aur rear mein mono-shock diya gaya hai jo speed breakers aur chhote potholes ko easily handle kar leta hai. Riding posture comfortable hai — na zyada sporty aur na zyada relaxed — isliye daily commute aur thodi long rides ke liye suitable hai.
Features ki baat karein toh semi-digital instrument console milta hai jisme speed, fuel gauge, trip meter aur gear position indicator jaisi important information milti hai. Braking system bhi reliable hai, aur ABS safety ko improve karta hai.
Overall, Bajaj Pulsar N160 ek value-for-money bike hai jo style, performance aur comfort ka achha combination deti hai. Agar aap ek sporty looking aur practical 160cc bike dhundh rahe ho, toh ye definitely consider karne layak option hai.

    • It is good design and so super to drive

      Ram

I’ve had my Pulsar N160 for over a year now, mainly using it for daily office commutes through heavy city traffic, with a few 200km weekend rides thrown in. Overall, I think this is one of the most balanced bikes in the 160cc segment right now.
Here is what I love and what I think could be better.
✅ The Good (Why I bought it)
Engine Refinement (Silky Smooth): The first thing you notice is how smooth this engine is. Unlike some older Pulsars, this one has almost no vibrations up to 90 kmph. It feels "mature."
City Performance & Torque: The engine is great for laziness—you can stay in 3rd or 4th gear at slow speeds in traffic, and it pulls away cleanly without knocking.
Safety (Dual-Channel ABS): I opted for the dual-channel ABS, and I highly recommend it. It gives a lot of confidence in the rain or on sandy roads.
Looks & Presence: It looks like a baby N250. The LED projector headlamp looks aggressive and works well at night.
Mileage: I am getting a consistent 45–50 kmpl in mixed riding conditions.
❌ The Bad (What could be improved)
Pillion Comfort: If you ride with a partner often, the seat is a bit hard and, on the split-seat model, it can feel a bit uncomfortable on long journeys.
Headlight Performance: While the projector looks cool, some riders find that the spread isn't perfect for pitch-dark highways, though it's fine for city use.
Gearbox Stiffness: Occasionally, the gearbox feels a bit stiff, and I have experienced a few "false neutrals" between 1st and 2nd gear.
Console: The digital display is functional, but compared to the TVS Apache 160 4V, it feels a bit basic—no fancy Bluetooth/navigation, just the essentials.

The Bajaj Pulsar N160 is known for city purposes and aggressive design under 160cc. It’s a more budget-friendly bike with better mileage. And My bike is complete 2 years, but I look like a new one ( maintained to be alive)
      Advantage :
      • Dual Channel ABS
      • Mileage - I got usually 60 km/l on highway but in 40-45 km/l
      • Engine Refinement- There is less vibration even at higher RPM or even its quite manageable
      Disadvantage :
      • Gear Box issues -Some time gear feels stiff ( bad gear response )and same happened with my friends who having same N160, false neutrals and a clunky,1st-to-2nd gear shift.
      • Instrument Cluster - It’s feels outdated with time and mines is a semi-digital instrument but new has also boring fully negative display. I think they must provide TFT display like its competitors (TVS Apache 160 4v & Hero Extreme 1604v)
      • Pillion Seat - It’s very uncomfortable for the pillion and has a hard seat on it
      • Top End Power - Lacks the high-speed, top-end punch compared to rivals like the Apache RTR 160 4V.

    • Massive Bike

      Subramanyam

The Bajaj Pulsar N160 stands as one of the most well-balanced motorcycles in the 160cc segment in India. Designed for young riders and daily commuters who desire a sporty appearance without compromising comfort and practicality, the Pulsar N160 successfully blends style, performance, and efficiency into one attractive package.
At first glance, the bike immediately impresses with its aggressive streetfighter design. Inspired by its bigger sibling, the Pulsar N250, the N160 features a muscular fuel tank, sharp tank shrouds, a sleek LED headlamp, and a bold overall stance. The design gives it a premium and powerful road presence, making it look larger and more expensive than many other bikes in its category. For riders who value aesthetics, the N160 certainly does not disappoint.

I have had a pulsar N160 for about a year and it almost give me 50 mileage in highways and 40-45 in cities no matter however I drive with high rpm. The bikes speaker clutch is so beautiful and sometimes I don’t even need the clutch to change gears when am in call or something. It’s every much comfort and it’s not a cut seat so your family members can sit easily and also the black color is honestly to amazing with its best performance and exhaust sound with great price that no one can compare. It’s a must buy if you are a started biking category and have a low budget financially.

    • Perfect Balance of Power, Comfort and Mileage

      Toman Sahu

I have been riding the Bajaj Pulsar N160 for quite some time now, and overall, my experience has been excellent. The buying experience was smooth, and the dealership staff was supportive with proper guidance about features and servicing. The bike looks very sporty and premium, especially the muscular tank design and LED headlamp, which really stand out on the road.
Talking about riding experience, the N160 feels very comfortable for daily commuting as well as occasional long rides. The engine is smooth, refined and offers good pickup without vibrations. Power delivery is linear, making city riding stress-free, and on highways, it feels stable even at higher speeds. The mileage is also decent for a 160cc bike, which makes it pocket-friendly.
Suspension setup is well-balanced and handles bad roads easily. Braking performance is confidence-inspiring, especially with dual-channel ABS, which adds extra safety. Servicing and maintenance costs are reasonable and spare parts are easily available.
Pros: Stylish design, smooth engine, good mileage, comfortable ride, strong braking
Cons: Slightly stiff seat for very long rides, limited colour options.
Overall, Bajaj Pulsar N160 is a great choice for those who want performance, comfort and reliability in one package. Highly recommended.

I bought this bike on 5/1/2026. I have N160 USD FORKS SPLIT SEAT variant. It is a value for money bike but the major issues I faced while riding this motorcycle is that there's no seating comfort while riding it is very stiff and mileage is between 42-46 kmpl.

Riding posture comfortable hai — na zyada sporty aur na zyada relaxed — isliye daily commute aur thodi long rides ke liye suitable hai.
Features ki baat karein toh semi-digital instrument console milta hai jisme speed, fuel gauge, trip meter aur gear position indicator jaisi important information milti hai. Braking system bhi reliable hai, aur ABS safety ko improve karta hai.
Overall, Bajaj Pulsar N160 ek value-for-money bike hai jo style, performance aur comfort ka achha combination deti hai. Agar aap ek sporty looking aur practical 160cc bike dhundh rahe ho, toh ye definitely consider karne layak option hai.

    • It is good design and so super to drive

    • Pulsar N160 - The Black Panther

      Shahid Khan
