Baying experience is really really good and riding experience i'll say it's great for short distance riding but. For long rides your hand might start to piss off, performance is good, i was only 18 when i get this bike and i am 20 i own this bike for 2 years and i don't feel any problem on it's performance, maintenance is pocket friendly.Headlamp is the only thing which i don't like about it. And other then this. Pulsar 180 is great bike to start with

Basically i bought this bike as it was very stylish, and heard many people praising it.I had black colour pulsar 180.It has some advantages and many disadvantages.Advantages are it looks very stylish and is a product of bajaj, so service is good.Now come the disadvantages.First of all it is very heavy to handle, secondly it has short handle cut which makes it difficult to handle.The seat is also not designed well.My pulsar did not have kick, it had only self start.So it gets difficult to start the bike when self doesn't work.

1. Bought this bike in 2013. It costed around 87K on road then.
2. I used this bike for commuting, touring, everything. Till now covered 60000 km and still running.
3. Looks never got old. 180 & 220 are the heartthrob before R15 & Duke came in. Color still shines. 127 top speed achieved.
4. Maintenance cost 500-1000 per service. (unless service centers try to loot your entire money). Changing oil in 3-4K interval is needed. Parts need to be changed rarely. I've got my tires changed every 20000 km.
5. Pros- Enough powerful for that much cost. Good mileage 35-40 kmpl. Low maintenance. Pretty comfortable for any ride. Good horn (I love the twin sound).
Cons- braking (for older models. Now it has improved a lot with ABS & rear disc). Lighting is very poor (now we can get 180F for higher price which got better headlamps). Main stand touches every speed breakers.

Excellent bike from bajaj it has a great pickup and a great power it is awesome it is like a beast.Very good bike.Mileage seems to be average but other is awesome.Great thing it is like a beast forever.It is a bike ever created.It is a my favourite bike it looks so good it's colour combination is awesome.

It was amazing that being a relationship with bajaj and o got this bike and very happy with this and its suits for me the only thing after 6 months the bike giving some sound and parts are getting loose and suggesting that provide abs in this so that will be the better for us. Pulsar is smart bike and it suits for every one not only me

I own a pulsar 180 ...Best bike...Looks are very classy ...It’s gives me 50 average service and maintenance cost is low compared to others..Best bike ever..Like i love in pune city as it is a city it contours traffic...Pulsar gives you the comfort to drive in the traffic ..I enjoy long rides on my bike ..You should get one ..Best bike ..

Pros: look-wise this bike is attractive, colour looks premium too. Undoubtedly the engine is smooth and throttle response is also very good.

There no heating issue

Decent mileage in 180cc category

Rare discs are very helpful

cons:when it comes to gear shifting it is very hard to do up-shifts as well the downshifts.

Vibration issues is there.

While doing cornering it doesn't give you confidence.

Overall satisfaction

My father gifted me my brand new pulsar 180cc. I liked it so much that i spent my 1st year in just cleaning it. In the first few months it gave a mileage of around 45-50 kms. I used to clean it once a week. But later as bike became old i stopped taking so much care of it. Still i didn't get many repairs. Last year i had to change both the tires. There were no repairs in the 1st year except small things like chain tightening,oil etc. Last year i got a bunch of problems now and then like once the clutch wire got broken during my journey to college. I took it to garage and they fixed it. Someday random the battery went off during last year, i replaced it with new battery. I used to travel daily to college on bike making 70kms everyday. Slowly the sound from vehicle started growing. It reached a sound where my bike started sounding like an auto, then i had to again take it to garage and fixed it making a bill of rs.2700 . Now its third year of my bike and i almost roamed 50000 kms on it. I frequently keep servicing it once per 3 months and i frequently change engine oil. Even though there were problems sometimes but still i feel pulsar is one of the finest bikes. It provided an equilibrium for a person who cant afford for a sports bike but still needs a bike that looks like sports bike and at same time with avg mileage.
