The Bajaj Pulsar 150 is the highest selling 150cc commuter bike in India. Despite it being long in the tooth, the combination of muscular style, good fuel efficiency and value for money makes it an extremely popular motorcycle in the two-wheeler market.
The styling might not have been updated for a long time, but the motorcycle has received new colour schemes and variants over the years. In order to add spice to the recipe, the company has introduced the Neon series wherein the motorcycle adorns a matte metallic grey colour scheme with contrasting neon orange or yellow highlights. However, the Neon model loses out on tank extensions and engine belly. Besides that, the motorcycle continues to feature a split seat design, sporty decals for the single and twin-disc models.
It uses a 149.5cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine that is fuel-injected and BS6 compliant. It delivers 13.8bhp and 13.4Nm of torque and comes mated to a five-speed transmission. The Pulsar 150 is suspended by telescopic front forks up front and dual springs with adjustable preload at the rear. The braking setup consists of a disc brake at the front as standard and the choice of a drum or a disc brake at the rear. All variants of the Pulsar 150 feature a single-channel ABS system as standard fitment.
The motorcycle is offered in six paint schemes – black-grey and black-red for the single-disc model, black-blue and the same black-red for the twin disc model and neon red, neon yellow and neon silver for the new Neon series. Bajaj has also introduced the Pearl White and Saffire Blue colour options that are a part of its new Dagger Edge edition. These two paint schemes sport bolder and edgier decals.
In its segment, the Pulsar 150 competes against other executive 150cc commuter bikes like the Honda CB Unicorn 150, Hero Xtreme Sports, Yamaha SZ-RR V2.0 and the TVS Apache RTR 160.

I have been using this bike for the last 14 years, and now going to buy a new one. nice bike for daily usage and long rides with the family camper to other vehicles. The maintenance cost is less compared to other vehicles, By changing the engine oil as prescribed by the showroom we will get a good life for the vehicle and will get good resale value.

Pulsar 150 is really a bike with a difference. It is easy to maintain and value for money. It’s muscular and sporty look. I am driving this bike with a happiness mode every time. Thanks, Bajaj for Launching this bike.It has an aggressive seating posture but the performance and the torque which it gives are unbelievable. Best bike in this range than other companies. Pulsar 150 is a completely mind-blowing machine that will blow your mind.

The buying experience of this bike was good. I've been using this bike for more than a year but now in just 3 months, it's starting to show some problems. It required much maintenance as compared to other bikes in this segment. Looks are decent and performance is decent but starts reducing very early because of its clutch plates. Its clutch plated are very bad the get grind very easily.

The Pulsar 150, an epitome of reliability and performance, stands as a stalwart in the commuter motorcycle segment. Its sleek design, coupled with robust engineering, makes it a favorite among riders seeking a blend of style and substance. Keep your motorcycle clean, both inside and out. Regular washing and waxing not only improve aesthetics but also help prevent corrosion and maintain resale value.

Keep the chain properly lubricated and tensioned. A loose or dry chain can lead to poor performance and even damage the drivetrain components.
