Dominar 400 — Worth the Hype
Sujay Sudhir
So I own the 2023 BS6 Dominar 400, and right from the start, it has ticked a lot of boxes for me—especially with the updated E20-compliant engine, which feels future-ready and smooth. From day one, the bike has always given me a thrill. Whether I'm riding with bigger, more expensive bikes or cruising alone, people still turn around to look at the Dominar. It has that muscular road presence which never fails.I’ve added my own touch to it—Maddog auxiliary lights, a top box, and a bunch of touring-focused mods that have truly transformed it into a proper highway machine. Fully loaded or not, the bike handles long-distance rides effortlessly. One thing I genuinely appreciate is how planted and stable it feels. Many say the Dominar is heavy and tough to manoeuvre, but honestly, that weight becomes a huge advantage at high speeds and in crosswinds. While other bikes start wobbling, this one stays rock solid. Now, coming to the downside—the service experience. Bajaj definitely needs to train their service staff better specifically for the Dominar. It’s a unique machine and deserves mechanics who understand it properly. A few modern tech features could have also made the bike even more appealing—maybe better connectivity, improved instrumentation, or rider aids would have added more value. But despite these small misses, I absolutely love this machine. I’ve done endless rides and tours on it, sometimes without giving the engine the typical “rest breaks,” and it still keeps going without complaint. The reliability, touring comfort, and power delivery make it a bike I trust every single time I hit the road.Overall, the Dominar 400 remains one of the most underrated yet rewarding motorcycles in its segment.

HONEST REVIEW

The bike experience was good The bike is 10/10 in terms of worth the money there is nothing that i would complain about it other then the turning radius it's not very much but in small spaces you will get in some trouble but overall I am glad to have it riding experience is good power and torque is good and it's the king of stability in this price and bike segment and about the weight I will say you will find it difficult to manage in the early stages after buying it but in 10-15 days you will adjust to it and overall worth the money and if you are thinking to buy it just go for it it will never disappoint you

Bajaj Dominar 400 Touring Best hyper cruiser
23 weeks ago
Suhan Shetty
Pros: Sporty look. 40 BHP power and 35 nm torque.Excellent pickup, especially after 3000 RPM.Lovely twin-barrel exhaust. The split instrument cluster is attractive and unique.Has a gear position indicator, too.Slipper and assist clutch, feels butter smooth. 6 LED headlight works superbly and has a good throw. CONS:Brake pads are of low quality and feel useless, which reduces the stopping power. The service needs improvement.Seats are wide but need more cushioning for long rides.Chain cluttering noise is annoying and isn't smooth on gear shift, needs major improvement.Gear shifts aren't sleek. The price is on the higher end right now and needs to be reduced. More colour options are needed as there are only 2 colours available right now for the D400. i.e, glossy green and matt black.
