Mileage in city 30 kmpl.Headlight is very very weak. Better carry a torch with you and wrap it around the helmet.Gear shifting is the worse. Its like hammering a rock with your leg.Suspension is like a rock. You feel the rocks. Seat is not meant for riding more than 20 minutes. It become very hard and uncomfortable to sit. No pick up at all. Not even like a 125 cc bike.If there was no law in the country, i would have burned all bajaj service centre with service people locked inside. They are not mechanics but they are deaf dhobis. They just wash your bike with detergent and never listen to anything you say.

This is a bike excellent styling. It definitey catches the eyes of the people around you when you are on the road.
Engine delivers good power except that it get heated up too quickly. I got a mileage of 48km/l which i think is a good mileage for a 1500cc bike. It has a 5 speed gear box & it works very smoothly.
Its a very stable bike, whether you are riding in the highway or under heavy traffics.
You can even drive the vehicle at a speed of 5 km/hr under heavy traffic conditions without putting your leg down.
Overall, it is an excellent bike with a good value for money in the 1500cc segment.
Areas of improvement engine gets heated up too quickly which needs to be improved.
Pros
comfort,low seating,style,fuel economy & pricing,

styling is good for this bike. You have got everything right there.
Engine performance, fuel economy and gearbox
performs good. Not too rev happy but able to maintain high speeds without much fuss.Fuel economy is low due to weight of the bike-150kgs.Gearbox is smooth - no hiccups
ride quality & handling
comfort is the best for the rider. Handling is easy. Takes some time but then you can easily cut corners and owing to low seating confidence is also high while maneuvering.
Final words
as i started good enough. Comfort is why you should buy it.Don't expect acceleration or otherwise you'll be disappointed.Pillon seat is uncomfortable inspite of the good cushion.
Areas of improvement
increase quality of the parts. Tyres and ignition brush had to be replaced in just 8 months.Kickstart is a must. In case your battery or electrical dies the only option is to try taking it down a slope to start it in a gear.
Pros
comfort and handling
cons
accelaration, low quality parts

Hello,I am using bajaj avenger 150 in new delhi from last 2 years, but i have made a bike service from giri automobile, khajoori khas, karawal nagar road, delhi at 14/09/2018. After that service, my bike is not running smoothly, the bike has stopped suddenly while i driving. It's very dangerous to me and other people. And the major problem is my bike is not giving me proper mileage (it gives around less than 30 km/per litre). That is very terrible to me. I had gone two times in service center, but the problem has not solved. I am very disappointing from bajaj service.

It's great to ride bajaj avenger in every condition. Good ride quality
having great performance in every situation. Mileage is also very good about 45 kmpl average.
There is need in improving breaking system, i think abs mandatory, it gets skid when you apply front brake on turns, sleepery roads.
Looking wise it's okay, just need to improve appearance of looks too low and flat and it's looks very awkward. There is definitely scope to redesign in fuel tank. Its very flat. Personally i don't like it.
There is no issue in servicing and its very economical less maintenance.
Pros- very nice performance
economical
good mileage
low maintenance
cons - very poor design
braking
very low appearance

Well it all started when i took a lift on highway few years back from a stranger on red wine avenger 200.He was little sleepy so offered me a lift on a condition 'if i ride ' and i was like " be my guest" and i was the swept away by riding experience which led me to bajaj showroom after three years, the time when i started earning, i wanted old school beast red avenger 220 but when i entered the showroom there it was at front staring right at me. New avenger street 150 in blue, even with better ergonomics and graphics and avenger emblem on sides. It was my love for "the bike" redefined.I wanted 220 cc but the color option of that model was not appealing me much,it was like eternal struggle between engine size and color,i cursed bajaj for not giving color options. So after much apprehension and thoughts i decided to go for avy 150 and boy i don't know that at all.Its been around an year and half since then and my avy been on my side for 11000+ kms and counting.I use it for daily commuting but the real fun is when you are on highway.
Pros: one thing for sure, bike is real head-turner. Rear end wide tire and big fuel tank at front, gives it bulky appearance.About riding experience, handlebar is closer to body which makes it easy to handle in city traffic while saddle seating position with foot pegs at front is comfortable beyond words. You can drive miles without arching your back and keeping your head high.Low slung position gives you lower center of gravity for better stability at low speeds and suitable for average and below height indian guys. Mileage is good ,in city i am getting 35-40 and on high way about 45 which is good considering weight of bike.Big fuel tank of 18 ltr makes you worry less on your high way ride.
Cons: as per performance nothing but from manufacture point of view have some points which is not exactly cons but more of a modifications which could make bike better machine. Like tubeless tire would be cherry on cake. Pillion riders complain for narrow seat. Since front brake is disc one, aft one is drum brakes which kinda lack the bite.So those are some area bajaj should work on future avenger models.
i always had a thing for cruiser bikes but on indian turf we don't get much options in that category, its been avenger always cause be honest not every one can buy harley and even situation of harley owners in india is pathetic, have to wait for months for single spare part and ofcourse royal enfield has cult status but lets face it, classic is not a cruiser and thunderbird handle bar makes it way worse for handling. Aquila is whole other segment where 250 cc bike cost you 2.5 lacs and new brand like uml commando still has long way to in indian territory to establish themselves,,so honestly avenger doesn't have any competition in its segment and overall personally it's an honor owing this beautiful machine, and as they say four wheeler move body but two wheeler move soul.. So with that i guess my love for avy could make my review biased but trust me there is no exaggeration of pleasure when you ride this one on. Thanks for reading.

Awesome city cruiser

Pros
comfort,low seating,style,fuel economy & pricing,
cons
engine gets heated up too quickly

Good enough

Style
styling is good for this bike.

30 kml mileage

Hello,I am using bajaj avenger 150 in new delhi from last 2 years, but i have made a bike service from giri automobile, khajoori khas, karawal nagar road, delhi at 14/09/2018. After that service, my bike is not running smoothly, the bike has stopped suddenly while i driving. It's very dangerous to me and other people. And the major problem is my bike is not giving me proper mileage (it gives around less than 30 km/per litre). That is very terrible to me. I had gone two times in service center, but the problem has not solved. I am very disappointing from bajaj service.

Abs is mandatory.
