Ather's upcoming modular family scooter, initially designated 'EL-01', will be called the Konarc, as revealed by the brand through a teaser. The Konarc will be launched on 29 August, coinciding with Ather Community Day 2026.

Ather's FY26 performance announcement confirms major focus on the new EL platform. The products from this platform will help expand sales beyond the stronger Ather market in South India to Central.

The first scooter based on the Ather EL platform has been spotted testing under camoflage in India. The test mule possessed LED lighting reminiscent of the EL-01 concept, while also featuring a swingarm-mounted motor.
