Ather 450X Gen 2 Summary
The Ather 450X is the flagship product of the Bengaluru-based electric vehicle manufacturer, Ather Energy. The 450X features several styling and mechanical revisions over the standard Ather 450. Unlike the standard Ather 450, the 450X is listed in two variants and three colour options. The two variants include 450X and 450 Plus. The 450X is priced at Rs 1.59 lakh while the 450 Plus is available at Rs 1.49 lakh (both ex-showroom Bengaluru prices).
The 450X packs more power and torque than the 450 Plus. The electric motor on the 450X produces 6kW (8.04bhp) and 26Nm. It accelerates from 0-40kmph in 3.3 seconds and promises a range of up to 85km. Additionally, the 450X features an all new Warp mode built on top of an upgraded battery pack and BMS (Battery Management System). The electric motor on the 450 Plus makes 5.4kW (7.2bhp) and 22Nm. The 0-40kmph acceleration takes 3.9 seconds while the range is rated at 70km.
The styling cues are similar to the standard 450, and the Ather 450X and Ather 450 Plus continue to feature an apron mounted headlight, full-LED lighting, a Bluetooth-enabled (4.2) touchscreen instrument cluster, music & call controls, integrated 4G LTE SIM connectivity, digital document storage, and an onboard navigation. The display on the 450X range includes a 1.3 GHz Snapdragon processor. The hardware on the 450X and 450 Plus comprises of telescopic front forks, rear mono-shock, and disc brakes on both wheels. Similar to the standard 450, the 450X series also features a reverse mode.
Charging solutions include a home charger, Ather Grid public charging infrastructure, and a portable charger. Ather 450X comes with a complimentary home charger, Ather Dot. Ather Grid, on the other hand, allows fast charging and it can recharge the battery pack by upto 80 per cent at one kilometre per minute. The portable charger can be used to recharge the battery through a 5A socket.
The Ather 450X is currently available for pre-order in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, Kozhikode, Mumbai, and Pune.

In city ride, ather very comfortable electric scooter compare to ola and tvs. There is no negative point in scooter , but with showroom, customers have some bad experiences. If you want it for city ride then ita for you, either you should wait for 140km range new model for the outstation ride. Scooters have sturdy battery cases that's why you can easily ride in the rain or heavy rain (don't forget to close the charging socket hatch).

Tips for other riders
Don't take maintenance plans its a waste of money, usually, this scooter doesn't need service, but sometimes bolts and nuts get loose so you may service it once after running of 5000k.

Excellent performance and ride quality is too good

I bought this vehicle recently, though the price is high I have good buying and riding experience, at one instance we were two people of weight 160kgs and we bought 20kg item along with us, in total we were of 180kgs, I changed to ride mode and the performance was amazing, I didn't feel any lag. While using the vehicle I can compare ather in the electric segment with the apple in the mobile segment.

I got the bike delivery within 10 days of the order. A very good experience riding the bike. Looks are very attractive performance is best in the segment and live feature is amazing with the online app of ather. The only problem is the range is only 70km after full charge but if you got a portable charger you can charge it anywhere.

This is my honest review after riding for 7500 km and 9 months.I bought this bike in Aug 2021. The buying experience was not that great, but all that faded out in the excellent performance and quality of this bike. The riding experience was amazing. What I found was Ather has tested this bike in most Indian conditions and it is well suited for Indian roads. Looks are undoubtedly sporty, performance is superb has mentioned in numbers in the website. I had done one service after 5000 km, it cost me some 1200 rs. No maintenance charges except service.Pros.1. Excellent Performance2. Looks3. No maintenance except servicing4. Service cost is low5. Riding experience6. Useful OTA updatesCons.1. Price is comparatively high 2. Buying experience is not impressive3. Range is 90 km. Which would have been 150km for the daily commute.

Loved this amazing swadeshi-made vehicle!!! very good performance without any problem. Storage space is quite spacious. The back footrest is very comfortable. Reverse gear is an added advantage. Charging is very easy. Looks good. Customer service is fine. Overall good performance. Definitely would like to recommend this vehicle. The only suggestion company can think of little more mileage (km/charge)

Riding is excellent, quality up to mark, key is still the best way to operate a two wheeler, acceleration is epic.Ather needs to improve the rear view mirror and increase no of charging stations. Introduce cruise control through software update. Still a good option in 2022 i wish the price can be reduced by better subsidy rules.
