The Aprilia Tuono 457 is the latest twin-cylinder naked streetfighter from the Italian brand in India. The motorcycle is based on the RS 457 and, like the fully-faired bike, it is manufactured in India and exported globally.
Unlike other Tuono models that get a semi-fairing inspired by the equivalent RS model, the Tuono 457 features a unique bikini fairing and tank extensions to set it apart from the RS 457. The rest of the design, from the fuel tank to its tail section, is identical to the fully-faired sibling. Overall, the styling looks sporty and aggressive.
The same 457cc, parallel-twin engine from the RS 457 powers the Aprilia Tuono 457. The liquid-cooled motor produces 47.6bhp and a peak torque of 43.5Nm. The engine is paired with a slick-shifting six-speed gearbox that benefits from a slipper clutch.
The features list of the Aprilia Tuono 457 comprises full LED lighting, five-inch colour TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, multiple ride modes, traction control system, and dual-channel ABS. The TFT console also allows the rider to receive calls and control music on the go.
Under the bodywork, there’s a twin-spar aluminium frame suspended on preload-adjustable USD front forks and a monoshock at the rear. Meanwhile, braking duties are handled by a 320mm front disc and a 220mm rear disc. The motorcycle rides on 17-inch wheels wrapped in TVS Protorq tyres.
The Aprilia Tuono 457 is a direct rival to the Yamaha MT-03 but faces competition from the KTM 390 Duke and the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450.

The Aprilia Tuono 457 is praised for its powerful and linear parallel-twin engine, comfortable ergonomics, and agile handling. The bike is essentially the naked streetfighter version of the Aprilia RS 457, sharing the same aluminium frame and engine but featuring a more upright riding position and shorter gearing for enhanced city performance. Some reviewers note a stiff suspension setup and mediocre braking performance, which may require upgrades. The 457cc parallel-twin engine produces a best-in-class 47 bhp and 43.5 Nm of torque. It's 270-degree crank gives it a distinct, addictive exhaust note

I tried multiple motorcycles before buying this. I had narrowed it down to the Duke 390 and this. I found this easier to ride. The duke felt very jumpy or aggressive ( Not something I personally like ). I wish the suspension were a little softer, but if you ride it every day, you get used to it. Other than that, I have no complaints. I have had no issues or damages. I was really concerned about buying this after learning about the various issues that have shown up, but luckily, I have had no problems.

I was hesitating a lot whether to buy or not..but never regret my decision as it was really a beast. I was mainly impressed with the changes made to handle with raiser and tank. All over, very comfortable felt on patchy dumly roads. Fix the service cost and response i.e all to note mainly. I felt mainly ride comfort in which I drove for around 680kms continuously.
