At starting i loved the bike and later on i have a small problems with the bike and like the bike vibration,rare seat is not comfortable for others overall i like the bike it's a good bike for the people who ride's it eventually not for daily commute the brakes of the bike are so good and the looks of the bike are stunning

The biggest reason behind buying the sr150 was because it is the best looker in the country.

For me, the buying experience was pretty easy and straight forward the staff at kian motors (panvel) were able to explain everything to us properly. Payment was quick and we got the bike....I mean scooter the same day.

Speaking of the riding experience,it is out of the world for any scooter in the Indian market. The 155cc motor is well refined and has an aggressive character. The brakes are phenomenal and offer a great munch. The pillion seat is little bit small,but the seat is quite comfortable for the rider.The leg room is not as big as an activa so we cannot carry groceries there but who said sr150 is made for practical usage??

No doubt as i said earlier it one of the best looking scooter in our country. Aprilia has paid attention to every detail in this scooter. The matte black colour and the gray decals with a hint of red here and there looks sporty as well as elegant at the same time (i have a black std sr150). The 14 inch wheels give this scooter a different character. Dual headlamps have a bit dull lighting but it is a good looker(i said maybe it is not a practical scooter!). The way the foot pegs fold in and blend with the body is very neat it does not look like an ugly bump like in any other scooter. The rear part really looks like its from a motorcycle.

Performance?! it oozes performance. The 155cc engine is pretty active and responsive. Normally a scooter will act like it has juice all the way to 55kmh it will stretch to 60kmh then it will cry while going 70kmh and it has very little potential left after that. But with the sr story is different, you wont understand when you got to 80kmph but still it would have enough potential to go to 100+ speeds that too quickly. Top speed is an astonishing 120kmph!! in a drag race scenario it could easily beat even some 160cc bikes. The vee rubber tires give awesome grip one can rely on it is the best tire a scooter manufacturer could give, cornering is a piece of cake for this little beast.

Maintenance is not very expensive for this scooter but many drop the idea of buying it because of its very low mileage. At my place i get good response at the service center but it is not same all over India some areas are getting a very poor response for servicing and spare parts you must check out your dealership just to be sure

This scooter has many good points like its engine refinery, brakes, tires, excellent looks, it being a head turner but it has some flaws the tires don't give adequate grip in the wet road conditions, headlight is pretty dim, seat is not for some type of pillion riders (who sit in the bench style position).

But as i said earlier this scooter may not be practical for you this is a vehicle to be enjoyed , it would be used for someone who would love to have a thrill even in their daily commute. This is a scooter that caters to the needs of enthusiasts. This a scooter for those who want to have the honor and respect the fact of owning an aprilia

In aprilia sr 150 the problem is with silencer i have burnt my legs with minor injuries more than 5 times because of that copper pipe connected from engine to exhaust so do a better thing by fixing a guard above that copper pipe according to me it is a major issue

My buying experience was good but the showroom guy keep on skipping the delivery of papers of the vehicle (sr150) . It took them 3-4 for the papers except that it was good . Coming to my riding experience I had taken 2-3 test rides as people were saying that the suspension is very stiff ( it really is not very but stiff) and also to make sure that this is my right choice. My parents were telling me to buy access 125 because of better mileage but i wanted something unique, sporty , with a awesome feel etc. Talking about the service , services in the order of odd number are free . Like 1,3,5,7 , there are 4 free services and it has been only two weeks getting my aprilia sr150. So not done service but in the manual it is written that after you ride it for 250-750kms you have to do the first service and change the engine oil. My friend had done the first service in his aprilia sr150 . The first service costed him around 370( engine oil and some other things. ) i live in raipur and the service here is good because i have seen my friend’s bike ( it’s literally a bike) coming after the service. They did a good job( thumbs up aprilia) and the people there are good and friendly as i have met them when they were fitting the accessories. Right now my sr150 gives (here’s the mileage) mileage of about 30-35 as the first service is not done . After that i think you should go up to 40 . I drive economically for your information. Now the pros and cons :-Pros:-1. Awesome looks 2.Power ( you just need to slide your throttle a bit (just a little bit) to show the squids in activa , jupiter , dio( no offence) that they are messing with the boss.) 3.Handling( the vee rubber tyres which are literally wider than bullet’s and other bikes like cbr’s tyres offer a very good leaning angle and extremely good handling) 4.Sound ( it is different and bit louder than any scooter in the market) but some people don’t like the sound. 5. Aggressiveness of the headlamps ( they look really awesome) 6.Biggest and widest tyre in the scooter market (14 inch )7.Bigger fuel tank (6.5 l) 8. Highest seating position 9. Great ground clearance 10. Telescopic front suspension and monoshock at the rear 11. It is really a head turner and can easily win the race with any 150cc motorcycle ( unless the rider on the bike is professionally skilled ) Cons:- 1. Mileage (35-40 after 1st service . If you drive economically) 2.Firm suspension ( the smoothness increases when there’s a pillion) 3. Firm and a bit small seat ( good for long rides) 4.Service in some places is bad ( aprilia really need to work on getting more and good service centers in India . 5. Speedometer ( a bit old type but sporty with carbon fibre and much more accurate than digital meters ) That was it from my side . Aprilia sr150 is really a racing and awesome machine. You have to give some mileage for the performance and other than that this machine is really a beast and you should go for it . You will make the right choice ( go and test ride it . Don’t just buy because reading my review , go check it out yourself and decide which is best for you . For me it is the beast and the boss of all scooters . The aprilia sr150.

This is scooty known as bike...Awesome power and also pickup power is mind-blowing..Look is better than other scooty..This scooty is comfortable for long ride..And service is also good ..And average is not good but average ..I don't care ...City mileage is 30 to 35 and highway mileage is around 40 ....

The pick up n the sound of the scooty is too good. I love the way it takes instant pickup with great engine power . But only one thing it has no side stand that makes a parking problem mileage also is very good the scooty must be time to time given for a servicing keep that regular and you will get complete satisfaction

If you are buying a non gear two wheeler and money ain't a problem you are at right place. Using this bike since 2 years. this two wheeler is no less than a sports bike no less than a comfortable safe two wheeler two. Simply it's a bike cum activa. Believe or not i went on this to leh ladakh from kolkota west bengal. Also good for city outer and all and the most comfortable seats looks are superb sexy like a racing bike. The only con is this doesn't have any con.
