I bought SR 160, and by riding the seat has problem, slipping from seat while driving the seat is inclined, the seat should make broad and to make comfort while sitting, i want to make changes on seat, if showroom persons can do on this, another one is helmet , by placing in under seat, the seat is not closing, shock absorbs is not upto mark compared to scooters, features are less compared to latest model scooters, pickup and control, balance is good and pickup is good.

The Aprilia SR 160 stands out when it comes to power. But that's it. I am a tourer and I like to use my moped for multi state travel. I used this bike for long tours. I am writing this review after riding bike for more than 1 year and 25000 plus kilometers.
When it comes to power its better than any moped available in the market. For long ride you can easily maintain speed above 90Km/h. You don't have to stop after every 100kms. My highest one day travel is 870kms. I took only 4 stops in between. Breaks are also good.
When it comes to comfort this is one of the worst scooter in 125cc and above segment. Suspension is too stiff. Seat is slippery. I recommend everyone to spend 1500 to 3000 rupees extra and buy an air or gel cushion seat for themselves (This is a mandatory accessory for anyone who rides more than 10km everyday specially for people in Maharashtra!!!) Sitting space for pillion is also small and uncomfortable. Don't even try to ride for longer distance on this with pillion. Leg space is also small compared to other scooters.
Mileage is also decent with 25 to 27km/l within city and 32 to 34km/l on long rides. Service center is also good and staff is cooperative (experience varies from center to center.)

In summer just keep outside for 10 minutes Aprilia 160 won't start. Please don't buy.

I bought Aprilia 160 ten months back and after 3rd service the vehicle does not start at all. After numerous calls to customer care they had contacted the dealer and had been told to call road side assistance. The road side assistance is even more pathetic than Aprilia customer care. They told that they are going to cover 50 km up and down from the location where they are present not even from the service centre. They have asked 3800 Rs to tow my vehicle. I couldn't really understand how a 10 month vehicle have so many problems. I really doubt their quality of the parts and build. After having paid such a huge amount for this useless vehicle I now think my scooty pep is far better than this useless vehicle. I never encourage to buy this vehicle after all these experiences. Finally the words I can get after facing these issues are worthless...Waste of money...Pain

It a good scooter but has a big issue. It has a very uncomfortable seat and and a very big problem in petrol indication. Overall its just awesome. Ex. its mileage should be increased for normal use. If you want any feel like a bike then buy it just by closing your eyes....

3.While delivery time itself its head light switch was defective .That night itself I recognized and complained dealer .But dealer charged for that switch
