Reviews of Aprilia SR 150

Very superb scooter by Aprilia as I say superb I really mean it very good riding dynamics awesome handling decent mileage according to its performance no cons according to me. tyres provide a awesome grip can take on corners with sure footed, I sold my Pulsar RS200 bike after i owned it for a month because I didn't feel any sports bike need after owning this super scooter.

I am so satisfied that i have got a bike for my budget .I extremely liked the body shape of the bike i would often thought to buy a Sports bike but, when i knew this one i was surprised to hear this. I asked many members is it true.

Firstly, i considered buying a gearless scooter because i thought that it was more practical than a motorcycle and was more lighter and easier to ride in our everyday heavy heavy traffic. so i set my mind on the burgman 125 and the aprilia sr150.The burgman was overall a very good scooter but hate the oddball looks and performance was a bit low for my likings, so i decided to go for the one and only aprilia sr150. I head to the showroom and got myself a new red coloured sr150 abs. The price was a bit on the higher side for a scooter but the high price cannot let me down on buying it. Looks was awesome especially with the red color and the new graphics it came with.The performance was sooo good for a scooter and handling was good. The new mrf tyres have a good grip and gives more confidence then the older one. But the down side was that the suspension was on the harder side, especially the front suspension will let you feel every bumps on the road. The rear was okay and it was also adjustable unlike other scooters. To make the ride a little bit more softer i decreased the front tyre pressure by 3psi (always better to stick to the manufacturer recommended psi) which helps in making the ride a bit more softer. (the front forks and bearings might also last a bit longer this way). So now the ride was not that unbearably harsh. I must say it was not that unbearably harsh anyway.Coming to the mileage, we cannot, in anyway, say its an efficient scooter as i dont get more than 30kmpl in my everyday city riding condition.The engine was quite refined but the noise from the cvt roller was a bit irritating and it sounded more like a kerosene powered generator or an old neglected and unmaintained crappy scooter. But who cares if what you want is performance, convenience of a cvt and the practicality of a scooter.( talking about practicality, if what you want is a lot of storage spaces, don't buy it as you wouldnt get it here. But its was just enough for me as it gives enough space to store my goodies).It's a great scooter which provides a different identity from other scooters, stylish design and was just one of a kind. everything has a pros and cons.Not one thing can be too good or too bad. What is important to remember is whether it has more pros than cons. For me the pros was on the much more higher side.

First off buying experience was smooth i paid for the bike on wednesday got it delivered on saturday. The bike is crazily fast has excellent pick up and is very smooth. Handles really well. Only con is the fuel filler cap n nozzle is really small which makes it difficult to know when the tank is full. Being a sports scooter it needs the suspension to be stiff, i don't find it uncomfortable as many people have claimed. I got the race edition 2019 model n i'm loving the experience thus far. Anyone wanting to buy an aprilia and having second thoughts, i would definitely tell you it's money well spent. You will not regret your decision. At the end of the day it's an aprilia so chill out and enjoy your ride. A disclaimer i would like to mention is that don't expect to go grocery shopping or try transport gas cylinders on this bike as the floor board is very small and underseat storage is very less, its not an activa or a family scooter, so don't expect too much mileage either. But basic shopping is manageable. Its an out n out performance moto scooter. After riding activas n access this bike is i gotta tell is a masterpiece from aprilia. A big thank you to aprilia, piaggio and avanish motors bangalore for helping me get this demon. People stare at me everywhere i go, especially those dio riding kids, one twist of the throttle n the other scooters eat dust. I would definitely recommend this scooter!!!

Starting with the buying experience the showroom representatives were very good and polite. The formalities done were very smooth and the delivery date for vehicle was perfect and was not delayed.This scooty may look small but it is very powerful. 150cc engine with such less weight is perfect. It can really touch high speeds in no time. It has a very sleek design. This scooty may not suite a person who is very heavy or broad.Bumps have no effects on this scooty while riding, perfect shockers. Coming to after sales the maintenance is not very high at all and the servicing process is also very smooth.

I am a diehard fan of aprilia and decided to buy the sr150 as soon as it was launched because i am also a fan of scooters. Waited for abs and grabbed one in red color.Great performance, looks and braking is better than many other 150cc bikes 14 inch wheels makes it feel like riding a gearless motorcycle. Returns 40 kmpl which is way more better than some 125 cc scooters Only.
