Bought this scooter in October 2022 and is still running well without any major problems. The seat is a bit uncomfortable and I do not recommend it for longer rides. The real-world range is around 90 km in eco mode and 70 km in sports mode. Takes around 7-8 hours to get fully charged. The body is quite strong and is reliable. It had a few small accidents but nothing major happened. Braking is good. The service experience was great. The staff was helpful and the three services which I had were all free of cost. In a nutshell, this would be a good choice for those who want a scooter that is reliable and strong and has to commute daily for smaller distances.

  • Poor service and costly spare parts reduced mileage

Initially 55 km in full charge. Later reduced drastically.
Dealer select not good. Ask for extra money and not customer-friendly behavior and support.
The mechanic is not good at a service center. 1 problem gives different reasons for the same issue.
Dc2dc converter not working checked and said the wiring needs to change.
Visited another dealer for the same problem asked me to replace the dc2dc converter which cost approx 2k.
This part is online and available for between Rs 200 to 500

  • Bhai! Don't buy AMPERE EV. Go for some trusted brands

    1. The buying experience was good. I preferred this bike over Hero Electric in this range. That was my big mistake.
    2. Riding experience was good for up to 7- 8 months. But after that it starts doing a very good job for example it will stop suddenly when you need more speed to cross the road. And this quality of very good when you are stuck in heavy traffic. Sometimes it will stop at those points where you may have more chances of getting into an accident.
    3. Looks are average please don't compare it with Activa. Because they can not compete with ampere because of its poor quality. Ola has a speaker in their scooters but it has " Kahdbad" Sound every time.
    4. Servicing this is my favorite. Because only a few cities have it's showroom cum service center. I don't know what they do in servicing. It's a greater quality of service person that you will not feel any difference between before service and after service. A service person may ask you for tips for doing nothing just cleaning your bike. If you tell them about any issue they will ignore you by making some nonsense arguments.

At the time of purchase, tall claims were made. No after-sales service. Rude behaviour by customer care and centre.
I can't rely on this scooter. It stops anywhere. The battery is horrible. In short, nothing is good. Don't buy it.
Everything is chargeable. Charging 2000 for towing as road side maintenance.

The Ampere Magnus electric scooter has been nothing but a headache from the moment I purchased it. First off, let's talk about the charger. Yes, it comes with a supposed 5-year warranty, but guess what? Mine decided to kick the bucket after just 2 years of use. No big deal, right? Wrong. When I tried to claim my warranty for the charger, the company had the audacity to blame it on water damage!
Now, here's the kicker - there was absolutely no water damage to be found by the dealer where I submitted my charger for a warranty claim. But oh no, Ampere wants to play the blame game and avoid their responsibilities. It's been over a month now since I submitted my charger, and what do I have to show for it? Nothing.
Not only have I not received a backup charger during this time, but the supposed "repaired" charger they sent back was also conveniently labeled as water-damaged. What a load of rubbish! It's clear that Ampere doesn't stand by its warranty claims and would rather fabricate excuses than provide decent customer service.
Save yourself the trouble and steer clear of the Ampere Magnus electric scooter. It's not worth the headache, frustration, and false promises.

The mechanic is not good at a service center. 1 problem gives different reasons for the same issue.

Battery is Dead after 1 Year of usage. Poor Service response from Ampere company/ dealer they are not able to provide /replace the new battery, even after 1 month. company Dealers and Authorized persons are not answering the phone calls. Not giving any update about the status of the battery. I'll be happy if they recall their EV.
