Yamaha Bikes

Yamaha bike price starts from Rs. 81,981. Yamaha offers 12 new models in India with most popular bikes being MT 15 V2, R15 V4 and FZ FI. The upcoming bikes of Yamaha include Nmax 155, MT-09 and YZF-R7. Most expensive Yamaha bike is YZF-R3, which is priced at Rs. 4,65,259.

Yamaha derived its name from Torakusu Yamaha, the company’s founder. It started off by manufacturing Western musical instruments in Japan back 1887, and it wasn’t till 1955 that the company’s motorcycle division was set up. While Yamaha still manufactures musical instruments, with the distinction of being regarded as one of the leading names in the field, it also forms one fourth of the big four Japanese manufacturers in the two-wheeler industry.

With a rich legacy of motorcycle racing under its belt, Yamaha gained fame for its two-stroke motorcycles which exceled in premier class racing. Be it superbikes or motocross, Yamaha became one of the best manufacturers to bank on. Even today, Yamaha continues to be one of the top dogs across different forms of two-wheeler racing. This success in racing has helped Yamaha establish its name across the globe, making it one of the biggest two-wheeler manufacturers in the world.

While Yamaha motorcycles were being locally manufactured and sold in India some time before that, the company first, officially entered the country in 1985. It continued with its joint-venture with Escorts till 2001, after which it became a 100 per cent subsidiary of Yamaha Japan. Yamaha might be considered to be a sporty brand internationally, though the company’s Indian portfolio consists of a wide range of two-wheelers spread across different segments. Right from 100cc commuter motorcycles to litre-class superbikes, Yamaha has all of them. In its attempt to increase its volumes, the company off late has been focussing on scooters. The Fascino has helped Yamaha immensely in this cause, while the rest of the scooter range has also been performing decently. For the enthusiast audience, Yamaha has the Fazer, FZ-S, YZF-R15 and the YZF-R3. For budget-conscious customers, there are the Saluto RX, Saluto and the SZ-RR.  The superbike range is imported as CBU and consists of YZF R1, YZF R1-M, VMax and the MT-09.

It looks amazing like a real R1. I bought this bike in second-hand condition because it was expensive. Bike service is good and employee response and support are good. The riding experience is beautiful-along-lonely. Performance is mast acceleration with top speed. The conclusion is: This bike is only for a single person and helmet/mask simple man or a beautiful fit body couple short dress wear.

I buy this bike last Feb 2023 with EMI with a 30k RS down payment with HDFC bank. If talk about riding it a very comfortable for the long run average is also good around 40-50 km per liter. About looking it looks decent in this price range performance is also good. I get 5 free services from the company Pros - I like about Yamaha it is very stable while riding also breaking system is good for this price range Cons - Nothing much but yes Yamaha can give more colors on FZ

    Reliable allrounder!

All rounder bike with a reliable engine and YAMAHA brand name assurance. The sitting position is very comfortable for the city as well as for a long journey. Even pillion sitting is very comfortable. But lately, gear shifting has been a little annoying. It is also creating lots of noise from the body parts. Overall I have good experience with the bike.

    1. Irrespective of price point it is a very good bike and the behaviour of the staff at the showroom is also very decent and cooperative. If you buy it for daily commuting you will not be disappointed 2. The bike is a little bit high with a seat height of 810 mm but believe me it feels like 830+ due to its wide seat it will be difficult for short riders to flat foot on the ground. But its ground clearance is not good it touches high bumps if you are riding with a healthy pillion. It is very easy to ride in the city and on highways also. Its wide tires give you extra confidence while cornering but it doesn't provide ABS in the rear disc brake so if you push it hard the rear wheel skids but it is manageable. Next, the turning radius of the bike is not so good. You need a large space to take a complete U-turn. The engine is butter smooth and there is zero vibration up to 80. It provides Bluetooth connectivity but it must be improved as it can't automatically connect with the mobile a maximum number of times. 3. Looks are subjective but looks like a bigger cc bike and its muscular looks often attract people's attention 4. maintenance cost is affordable but the price of parts is a little bit higher side 5. conclusion Pros- @ Looks big. @ easy to ride and handle in traffic. @ zero vibration. @ good mileage around 50. @ projector, headlamp is very good at night. Cons- @ not for short riders <5.6 @ not good ground clearance @ feels lack of power while overtaking
