Worth buying , parts are bit costly and the sound is superb i loved the performance of the bike. I am using from past 2 years around 15000 kms and good fuel economy super bike , only thing is the problem in chain sprocket, can adjust chain every 300 to 400 kms and the life span of chain sprocket is low.

I have marketing job and travel 30 km without stop of bike apache 160 bs 4 model engine have heat problem, i go to service center 10 time but not find solution. My shoes and leg heat and during derive .So bad bike avoid if you going more than 10 km. And have gear shifting problem. My friend which drives vs 3 model recommend to purchase apache 160, but bs4 have so heat engine, don't go with this bike. When you ride 30km continue then your shoulder feel painful also.

Whenever I start my bike it feels. Even after 30000 km, it's still best. Nothing major problem occurred till now.

Style its a beautifully crafted beast, when you just sit on the bike you feel like you are in a race.

Engine performance, fuel economy and gearbox its loaded with 160cc powerfull rtr engine that you can really feel it. And fuel economy is good! i have just done with 2nd service (today) and so far i have got 60kmpl riding around 55km/hr andd had never crossed 60km/hr.. But today i was really exited and happy to ride my beast at its best, i really enjoyed the pickup, speed, thrill.... Coming to gearbox it lags (some times), it is smooth while the up shifts and stuck while down shifts and have to slow down the bike for down shifts but this is a common problem in all bike range.

Ride quality & handling ride quality and handling is exreamly good.. But rear tyer slips when you break, you might have to use good quality tyers.

Areas of improvement riding comfort as riders get back ache, tyers, gearbox.

Engine performance, fuel economy and gearbox superb engline but lacks refinement,fuel eco is ok,gearbox is the slickest.

Hi everyonei was buy apache rtr 160(gray) on 1st jan. 2016 After reviewing & searching some 150cc bike model available in india. Before this i was owner of tvs victor which model used approx 14 year & result is good. So base on my past experience with tvs i was decided to baying apache 160 model(also i was review apache-180cc but mileage purpose i was select 160cc), till today i was drive 1000 k.M. &Amp; note that my driving style is normal not racing style.

My experience with apache is good, my some observation as bellow.

1. Good stylist bike, good pickup & speed, good exhaust sound., Gear shifting is smooth, good digital speedometer(fuel gauge display minor variation, some time 1 point up, some time one point down, at same stage).

2. Foot rest & back sheet rest is not in bike so i was modified this personally because i am use this bike for tour with family(wife & 2 child), so i request to tvs, pl. Note this, some family person also like apache & use it for family tour. I hope tvs thinking about this matter.

3. Sitting style is slightly difference(racing style) compare to other bikes, but after some tour i feel it is batter.

4. Mileage observed in rajkot city 51kmpl(at speed 30 to 50), & highway 56kmpl(at speed 50 to 60), not checked mileage at 70 to 100 speed because at starting period of new bike it is not good to drive above 60 speed, i will update further,

5. Some one asking about vibration at high speed, when finished 700 k.M. Driving for trial purpose i was drive to speed 100 on highway for checking, i don’t found any type of major vibration,(bet’n 55 to 60 speed i feel minor vibration which is also seen in other bikes at high speed). Also tyre grip at that speed on road is good.

6. For chain oil use tvs oil spray, it is better, i was remove chain voice after using this.

In sort if you like apache 160cc & accept above thinks, don’t wary go for it.

Style i wouldnt say my choise fits yours, but looks decent.Not flomboyant.Led lights in the new model makes it look agressive.

Engine performance, fuel economy and gearbox i got my apache rtr 160 in nov,2014.Power packed performer with a decent mileage and a bit messed up gear box. The best thing in the apache is its engine.Rtr-race throttle responce as it stands for, will leave you astonished with its stunning performance.It appears as if the engine literally speaks with you.

But

gear box has been the problem with apaches over the years. I dont think tvs has done the best they could do to improve that. Lets hope this gets resolved over the years as it did form the old model to new model.Yes, i have rode both new and old models, the new one looks better.

Ride quality & handling i have to admit , the design suits best for solo ride. I am imressed with the control apache offers while maneuvering through trafiic of hyd.I wouldn't say its the best in the segment, but with the kind of pick up apache give you, makes you feel 'everything comes at a cost some thing else'.And with the second person it takes away even more of your control and comfort.

I have heard many people say apache has problem with its vibrations. But, trust me you would want to physically feel the speed.Though, vibrations are not intended, i felt them more advantageous rather than a limitation. Overall if you are passionate rider and dont mind a little discomfort. Go for it, you will never regret.

Final words i have bought the apache after considering fz.Gixer,unicorn. Every bike has its pros and cons. Apache is one of a kind bike, which can overshadow its limitations with its impressive engine performance and throttle response and leave you with no regrets.
