‘Meet and greet’ to be held at CIT, Jaipur
It hasn’t been a long time since Hero announced the Centre for Innovation and Technology at Jaipur, its new facility but it is already putting it to good use, teasing the media with an invite to get up close and personal with the motorsport team it has recently launched. It is called the ‘Hero MotoSports Team Rally’ and the ultimate aim is the 2017 Dakar Rally.
The current riders for the team are India’s most accomplished off-road rider, CS Santosh, and Joaquim ‘J-Rod’ Rodrigues, of Portugal. It is run in collaboration with Speedbrain GmbH of Germany, and is directly under the purview of Dr Markus Braunsperger, the Chief Technology Officer of Hero MotoCorp. The team will also play a role in development and testing of new concepts and products for Hero MotoCorp, which gives us great hope that no matter the segment, the upcoming products from Hero will be dynamically mature and fun to ride.
