Mathana Kumar took charge and won both the races of the Honda CBR 250 one-make championship races. Kumar managed the double victory at the championships third round at the Madras Motor Race Track.
The grid for Honda’s flagship CBR 250R Team Championship saw 13 racers. Team Honda Ten 10 Racing put up a clinical display to grab top three positions. Last round’s winner Mathana Kumar continued his good vein of form to finish first. Hari Krishnan R, who clocked fastest lap of the race finished second, whereas Rajiv S finished at third position.
Last round’s winner Anish D Shetty continued his good run to clinch the first position in a closely fought race ahead of Soorya P M in the CBR 150 R Novice category. Anish finished first, Soorya finished close second and Pisuh Ranjan finished right on his tail in third.
Congratulating the winners, Mr Prabhu Nagaraj, Vice President, Customer Service, Honda said, “It was an excellent outing for our racers, who put up an outstanding show today. My heartiest congratulations to all the winners and hope they will continue this winning streak in the upcoming rounds.”
Sarath Kumar from Honda Ten 10 Racing Team also managed two podiums places by finishing second in both races of Super Sport category. The Round 4 of Honda One Make Race is scheduled to take place in the month of October 2016 at BIC, Greater Noida.
