Top 3 researched bikes in April

Internet has changed the world. It has not just made our life easy, but also improved it. And for the automotive world, everything starts from a quick search on google.com and ends in a visit to the showroom. Researching online has become a necessity and that’s what the world does before buying anything. In the world of two-wheelers, BikeWale is the number 1 bike and scooter portal in India. And thanks to the data and various other analytic systems, we bring you three of the most popular bikes on BikeWale in April 2016.

Rank 1: Royal Enfield Classic 350

The Classic 350 has been the highest selling Royal Enfield motorcycle since a long time. And it’s quite evident when it topped the BikeWale research chart in April 2016. And how did it manage that? Well, most of us know the cult following for Royal Enfield brand and the Classic 350 is not just one of the most affordable motorcycles, but also has a design that tempts buyers to empty their bank account by Rs 1.2 lakh. With close to 1.62 lakh views, the Classic 350 has surely been a busy page on BikeWale. And not just that, close to 40 per cent of these visitors showed interest in buying the bike. Among the top five cities, consumers from Delhi showed the maximum interest in buying the Classic 350, followed by Bengaluru and Mumbai. Chennai and Pune took the fourth and fifth spot respectively.

Rank 2: Honda CB Hornet 160R

Stylish, muscular and refined– that’s what the CB Hornet 160R is for Honda as well as for the Indian consumers. This motorcycle has tasted success – something the CB Trigger or the CB Dazzler couldn’t. This has resulted into a lot of curious minds researching on BikeWale. The CB Hornet 160R attracted 1.46 lakh views making it the second most researched bike on our website in April. Around 36 per cent of the total researchers said that they’re interested in buying this bike. Out of all the top cities, customers from Mumbai showed the most number of interest in buying the CB Hornet 160R. Bengaluru and Chennai took the second and third spot respectively whereas Delhi and Pune were the last two ones.

Rank 3: Bajaj Avenger 150

Indian consumers have a thing for the cruisers but unfortunately, there aren’t many offerings in the affordable segment. With the Avenger 150, Bajaj tapped a very big segment and it’s clear with its overall sales. In fact, the Avenger 150 was the third most popular motorcycle on BikeWale in April. With over 1.39 lakh views, the Avenger 150 has been the most researched Bajaj bike on BikeWale since its launch. Interestingly, out of all, 34 per cent of the researchers showed interest in getting the Avenger 150 home. For this cruiser, Bengaluru and Mumbai showed the most interest, followed by Delhi, Pune and Chennai.
