Widening its footprint in Europe, Royal Enfield has opened a new showroom in Ireland. Set up in association with RetroVentures, this showroom will now cater to the rising demand for Royal Enfield motorcycles in the North Atlantic island.
RetroVentures had been involved in renting out Royal Enfield motorcycles to tourists and enthusiasts in Ireland since the past two years. Taking note of the positive feedback they got from their customers and the interest among them to buy these motorcycles, the company thought it best to go ahead and set up a full-fledged dealership in the country. Given the brand’s image of being a quintessential British bike maker, we expect Royal Enfield to strike a chord among the enthusiasts in Ireland. Currently, the company's portfolio for Ireland includes the Bullet 500, Classic 500, Chrome 500 and the Continental GT.
While its sales in India continue to rise rapidly, Royal Enfield has been aggressively expanding its network across the globe. The company is even planning to bring out new motorcycles exclusively targeted at the global market. Responding to rising popularity of its current range, Royal Enfield is currently setting up a third manufacturing facility which should increase the annual production capacity to 9,00,000 motorcycles by 2018.
