Triumph to auction the Jurassic Scrambler

Triumph has announced that the Jurassic Scrambler ridden by actor Chris Pratt in the blockbuster movie Jurassic World will be auctioned on eBay. All proceeds will go to ‘The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride’, which is the British manufacturer’s fundraising partner.

Based on the Triumph Bonneville, the Jurassic Scrambler has been styled along the lines of an old-school scrambler. Powered by the traditional 865cc twin cylinder engine, the Bonneville has turned out to be a favourite among custom design houses to build their bespoke motorcycles .

This specific Jurassic Scrambler is the third one of the three bespoke motorcycles built by Triumph, after the movie was released. The first motorcycle was gifted to the actor Chris Pratt, while the second one has found its place as a display piece at Triumph’s headquarters in the UK. The auction on eBay will begin at 7pm on Thursday, July 23, and will last for 10 days.
