MV Agusta may enter India with Kinetic Group

MV Agusta is believed to be in talks with India’s Kinetic Group to start doing business in the country. As per Autocar Pro, the talks are in an advance stage and there is a high possibility of some kind of announcement coming up from this alliance in next few weeks. 

The companies are currently in process of talking to various dealerships who will take up this Italian brand. The dealership for MV Agusta bikes will be set up under a separate business entity but within the Kinetic Group of companies.  While the exact launch date for the brand is not yet know, there is a high chance of the bikes been assembled in India due to high level of resources in terms of land and machinery with the Kinetic Group.

“Yes, this is correct. The Kinetic Group is bringing the MV Agusta brand of bikes to India and the announcements will be made very soon. MV Agusta is known as the top of the top-end brands in the motorcycling world and it has the potential to find a number of buyers in India too," said a source to AutocarPro. India is one of the fastest growing premium bike markets in the world and it makes complete sense for the Italian manufacturer to bring its line up to the country.
