BMW unveiled a new touring motorcycle called the F 800 GT. The new motorcycle replaces the ST model (Sports Tourer) and is powered by 800cc parallel twin engine that produces 90bhp at 8000rpm, along with a peak torque of 86Nm at 8500rpm.
The F 800 GT motorcycle can attain a top-speed of over 200kmph. The motorcycle has long swing arm and also has a tight suspension which ensures proper stability while touring. The ABS unit is standard for all the models; however, ESA (Electronic Suspension Adjustment) version that helps you adjust the suspension depending on the road conditions is available only as an optional pack.
The F 800 GT is available in three colours; Valencia orange metallic, dark graphite metallic and light white.
Currently, R 1200 RT, K 1600 GT and K 1600 GTL are the three touring motorcycles from the BMW portfolio that are available in India. We can expect BMW to offer the F 800 GT in India in the coming months.
