Honda India may launch six products today

We were the first ones to report about a possible launch of the CBR650F, which was showcased yesterday at the dealers meet. But it looks like Honda is gearing up for its biggest launch ever and if it goes this way, we would see six products rolling out from the press conference today.

Out of the six, the most anticipated motorcycle is the CBR650F, which was first showcased to the Indian market at the 2014 Auto Expo. It was during the same time the company announced its intention to launch this bike in India via completely-knocked-down (CKD) route and this added an excitement to the premium bike market.

The second new product to be launched could be the new Activa 3G, which was spied yesterday at a dealership. The third generation Activa is expected to replace the current Activa 110, which has been the best-selling scooter in India. The Activa 3G might get only cosmetic changes, but there are chances that the Japanese manufacturer might have played with the engine to deliver more fuel efficiency. The third and fourth product in question could be the CB Shine and the Dream Yuga, which was spied testing yesterday on the roads of Gurgaon. Both the bikes carried minor design changes, which makes us believe that the facelift models will be launched today. Few kilometres away from these test mules, a camouflaged Honda Dio was also spied testing. Just like the Activa 3G, we can expect the new Dio to get minor design changes.

The sixth product could either be the facelift version of the CBR150R or the CBR250R. Both the bikes are due for an update and this could be the best time.
