Officine GP Design reveals the MV Agusta One

Italian design house Officine GP Design has lifted the covers off the limited edition MV Agusta One. Based on the MV Agusta Brutale 800, the One is a manually crafted streetfighter motorcycle and represents the best of Italian design eccentricity. Featuring a hand-hammered monocoque structure, the One is almost production ready and is expected to be made in very limited numbers.

With the classic Italian design cues, an exposed trellis frame and a sculpted fuel tank, the MV Agusta One ticks all the right boxes when it comes to traditional looks and styling. The fuel tank gets an ergal plate which adorns the ‘One’ logo and production number. Officine GP Design uses a special paint technique for the One which lets the base aluminium satin texture shine through the subsequent layers. The headlamp gets 12 LED lights housed in an aluminium billet case while the rear section features vertically stacked LED tail lamps and a chrome trim.

One of the most innovative parts of the MV Agusta One however, has to be its instrument cluster. Officine GP Design has completely discarded the Brutale 800’s instrument panel and replaced it with an iPad! (yes, you heard it right). The tablet has been integrated with the One’s hardware and displays all sorts of information about the bike, besides hosting a number of other functionalities.

Mechanically, the MV Agusta One gets a 798cc three-cylinder engine produces 125bhp and 81Nm of torque. The stock exhaust has been ditched in favour of an all-titanium system with a carbon-end cap. The alloys have also been replaced with more retro-looking spoked wheels.

The MV Agusta One is a bespoke model and thus, the company has decided to withhold the price tag of the motorcycle. But should you wish to own this exquisite piece of moving art, you can directly contact Officine GP Design.
