Harley-Davidson has lifted the covers off the new Ultra Limited Low. Offering a seat height of just 650mm, the Ultra Limited Low boasts of the lowest seat height among the premium tourers currently on sale and is expected to be popular among short riders as well as women. The Ultra Limited Low has been priced at USD 26,999 (Rs 16.25 lakh).
Harley-Davidson has lowered the front and rear suspension to make it pull the seat closer to the road and make it less intimidating for shorter riders. The low-slung look not only adds to its appeal, but it has also dropped its centre of gravity, improving its riding dynamics. Harley-Davidson has also reengineered the ergonomics to match the riding stance.
Being a Project Rushmore motorcycle, the Ultra Limited Low comes equipped with all the touring amenities Harley-Davidson has to offer. It gets an analogue display with a 6.5-inch touchscreen digital counterpart equipped with Boom Box 6.5GT infotainment system. This system integrates Bluetooth, voice recognition, satellite radio, navigation and a music player.
The Ultra Limited Low, like the Ultra Limited is powered by a twin-cooled 1609cc Twin Cam 103 engine, which is rated at 138Nm. The engine comes mated to a six-speed Cruise Drive transmission. Despite the massive torque, performance isn’t expected to be the Ultra Limited Low’s strongest points as it tips the scales at well over 400kgs. Braking on the motorcycle is taken care of by Brembo brakes which come with ABS.
The Ultra Limited Low also comes with passenger floorboards, electronic cruise control to make those long rides stress free. The Daymaker LED headlight and fog lights are also a part of the standard kit. The Ultra Limited Low is available in seven colour schemes- vivid black, superior blue, brilliant silver pearl/vivid black, amber whiskey/vivid black, mysterious red sunglo/blackened cayenne sunglo, deep jade pearl/vivid black and radioactive green.
