UM Global Motorcycles
UM has showcased its entire product line-up of naked motorcycles and cruisers at the ongoing 2014 Auto Expo. The American manufacturer will launch some of these products in India by mid-2014.
The company specialises in selling motorcycles ranging between 150cc and 300cc. These motorcycles will be placed above mass market motorcycles and below premium bikes in India and will be priced very competitively.
The company will launch the XtreetR, Renegade Commando, Renegade Sport and Renegade Duty motorcycles in India and will be manufactured in their soon to be inaugurated facility in Delhi-NCR region. UM plans to source 60 per cent of spares from India to keep costs low and price the bike competitively. Currently, the American brand is in the process of setting up a dealership, with the metro cities getting the first one.
