Mahindra Centuro

The Mahindra Centuro, as we know, is a fairly technologically advanced motorcycle. Developed completely in-house for those looking for a feature-rich commuter bike, the Centuro does the job just fine.

However, despite being loaded with features like the flip-key secure access (first of its kind in India), anti-theft alarm, LED parking lights; the Centuro sorely missed the added assurance of a disc brake. Until now.

Mahindra has just taken the covers off the new disc brake-equipped version of the Centuro at the ongoing Auto Expo. The bike now promises to offer better stopping power and overall, a safer riding experience. Mahindra, however, has made no other changes to the bike. The Centuro, as a result, continues to be powered by a 106cc single cylinder engine producing 8.5bhp and 8.5Nm of torque. The bike is expected to go on sale shortly via all Mahindra two wheeler dealerships across the country.
