TVS Apache crosses one million in sales

TVS Motor Company has announced that they have sold one million Apache motorcycles. It was first launched in 2006 and the company began with the Apache 160 motorcycle and later Apache series was formed with the Apache RTR 180 and the Apache RTR 180 ABS. 

The Apache series currently comprises of Apache 160 Hyperedge, Apache 180 and Apache 180 ABS. The company marketed these motorcycles as racing machines with the tag “Racing Throttle Response” (RTR). "This is an important milestone for the Apache brand. Constant upgrades with new and innovative features, styling and refreshing graphics has helped us to achieve this milestone. To mark this occasion, TVS Apache will come with a unique one million badge," said K N Radhakrishnan, president and CEO, TVS Motor Company.

TVS is currently running a contest on Facebook where consumers can send their own tank design. The winner will be awarded with one Apache motorcycle which will have a one million badge.
