Suzuki announces 1 Million Commemorative Edition GSX-R

Suzuki Motorcycle has confirmed that a 1 Million Commemorative Edition GSX-R1000 will make an appearance for the 2013 model year. It will have a USD 200 premium over the standard GSX-R1000 (an additional Rs 11,000 before taxes and duties) for a few extra features.

Suzuki has sold one million examples of its sportbike range, the GSX-R range, and the 1 Million Commemorative Edition will sport a numbered plaque on the top of the triple clamp, a unique paint scheme, black front brake callipers, wheel stripes, red fork tops, gold forks, a unique tank graphic, a red spring for the rear shock, a pillion seat cowl and a special key ring. No, there aren't any performance enhancements to the motorcycle over the stock one.

Only 1985 units of the limited edition motorcycle will be produced, with 1000 to be shipped to the US market. Get in touch with your Suzuki dealer now if you want to grab one of the remaining 985 units.
