Guleria, vice-president, sales and marketing. “We will need at least four-five new plants to reach there”. HMSI’s Manesar plant has a capacity of 1.6 million units annually, while that of the Tapukara plant is 1.2 million. The upcoming plant in Karnataka will have the capacity of produce 1.2 million units per year initially.

HMSI plans to hire 3000-4000 people for the new plant which will take their total worker strength to 13000-14000.
