The CB Shine is a 125cc commuter motorcycle developed by Honda for the mass market segment. The Shine caters to a segment of buyers who are fine with understated looks but expect respectable performance and efficiency. This, coupled with Honda’s refinement and reliability, makes the Shine a solid all-round package.
The CB Shine gets graphics that run all over the fuel tank and a 3D Honda emblem on the fuel tank. Honda has also introduced a limited edition model that feature cosmetic updates for the motorcycle to make it more appealing. It includes multi-coloured grab rails, modern side cowl and dual-tone paint schemes. The motorcycle gets a diamond frame chassis and is powered by a 124cc single cylinder air-cooled engine. The engine churns out 10bhp at 7500 rpm and 11Nm at 5500 rpm and is mated to a five-speed gearbox. The CB Shine gets conventional suspension with preload adjustment for the rear, along with 18-inch wheels. You can get your CB Shine with either a front disc brake or a drum brake. A combined brake system (CBS) is an option for both and comes as standard equipment.
The Honda CB Shine is sold in six colours – black, grey, two types of red, brown, and blue. The limited edition, on the other hand, is offered in two colour options -- black with metallic red and black with metallic silver. The CB Shine is priced at approximately Rs 60,000 onwards (ex-showroom).

The Hero Honda Shine has been a fantastic addition to my daily commute. Its fuel efficiency is impressive, and the sleek design turns heads wherever I go. Smooth ride, great mileage, and overall a reliable companion on the road...The Honda Shine is a remarkable commuter bike that excels in both performance and aesthetics. As a proud owner, I can confidently say that this bike has exceeded my expectations in numerous ways.Let's start with its design. The Honda Shine boasts a sleek and modern look that turns heads on the road. The sharp lines and stylish graphics give it a sporty yet sophisticated appearance. Whether cruising through city streets or gliding on highways, the Shine stands out among its competitors.Performance-wise, this bike truly shines (pun intended). The 125cc engine delivers a perfect balance of power and efficiency. Whether tackling urban traffic or cruising on open roads, the Honda Shine offers smooth acceleration and impressive torque. It handles corners with ease, providing a stable and confident ride. The five-speed gearbox is smooth and precise, adding to the overall riding experience. One of the standout features of the Shine is its exceptional fuel efficiency. With a mileage of around 55-60 km/l in city conditions and 65-70 km/l on highways, fuel stops become infrequent, making it an ideal choice for daily commuters and long-distance riders alike. This fuel efficiency not only saves money but also reduces the carbon footprint, aligning with the growing emphasis on eco-friendly transportation.Comfort is another area where the Honda Shine excels. The seat is well-cushioned and ergonomically designed, providing excellent support even on long journeys. The upright riding position reduces strain on the back and shoulders, ensuring a fatigue-free ride.Maintenance is a breeze with the Shine. Honda's reputation for reliability holds true with this model. Regular check-ups and maintenance are simple tasks, thanks to the bike's accessible design and the availability of genuine parts. In terms of safety, the Honda Shine is equipped with features like CBS (Combined Braking System), ensuring stable and safe braking even in challenging conditions. The wide tubeless tires offer excellent grip on various road surfaces, enhancing overall stability and control. In conclusion, the Honda Shine is more than just a commuter bike; it's a reliable, stylish, and efficient companion on the road. Whether you're navigating city streets or exploring the countryside, this bike delivers an exceptional riding experience. With its impressive performance, fuel efficiency, comfort, and safety features, the Honda Shine truly shines as a top contender in the commuter bike segment.

I bought this bike in 2017. after 7 years I am very satisfied. I buy it for approx 76 thousand. Now I can say that it is the best bike I have ever ridden. No engine sound. Maintenance charges are similar to another normal price. Pick-up and engine performance are tremendous. About mileage is approximately 55 km per liter. Everyone who wants safety should buy this bike.

The buying experience of my first bike is very good. I was very excited and curious about my first bike. I have been working very hard to buy a bike. Riding experience is too good. It was very comfortable and enjoyable. I got my bike in a dark black color although I paid an extra 10k for it its worth and performance are ohohoho. I do regular servicing every year it costs me up to 10k.
